Lore says that Manaphy can only reproduce by making whoopie with Ditto, so what would happen if these two get in a heated argument? Let's see here...
Manaphy is a Pokemon with a base stat total of 600, putting it on the same level as the likes of Metagross, but here's the thing. Manaphy is, according to both the games and the ninth Pokemon movie, Manaphy is just a baby... Yeah, unlike other Pokemon, the discussion with Manaphy starts with the fact that you get a blue egg with an alien red orb in it. That's already a detriment to its combat experience. On the other hand, we have Ditto. Ditto has a base stat total of 288, putting it on par with Squirtle. When the Wiki will figure that out, I don't know, but until then, we have the fact that its tiering is variable up to 5-B to more or less have it line up with Manaphy. Immediately it would have the advantage of being more mature than Manaphy. This would essentially mean it would have a more combat-oriented mindset than Manaphy, whose behavior is likely instinctual.
Speed is equalized because I dunno if the same scaling quirks apply to speed as they do every other stat on the list.
