Manipulating Space Weather

If a character that can manipulate the weather pushes their ability to the level of manipulating space weather and causing space storms (such as aurora borealis or space dust clouds, or just solar storms in general), is it just new applications of Weather Manipulation or is it straight up new power(s)? Or both?
 
Feels like enhanced version of weather manip ngl. Unless there is extra context/application involved
