Hello everyone, with the release of Mario Tennis frenzy, there's surprisingly a lot of statements made in regards to the characters potential.

The main focus of the post is to hopefully Add Accelerated Development to the following Characters.

Luigi.
Wario.
Waluigi.

I originally had Princess Peach/Daisy in the original draft but they need more time.

Before we begin I'll explain the very nature of Zone Shot and Zone Speed briefly.

ZONE SPEED

12:33
As explained by Aster, Zone Shot and Zone Speed are powers hidden within and gained by Training.

While Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Peach and Daisy essentially got a power amp(Luigi/Wario/Waluigi from Lucien)(Peach/Daisy From Aster) Luigi, Wario and Waluigi’s power amps were removed upon being defeated. As for the princesses Aster explains “The power is temporary.” So while this explains why they suddenly have access to Zone Speed and Zone Shot, this does not explain why they have access to it afterwards. The only reasonable explanation is that Luigi and Co. eventually took time to train and unlock their latent powers just like Mario.

With that out of the way. Let's start off with Luigi.

LUIGI
Luigi, just like his brother Mario, has latent potential. After all, he's capable of Zone Shot and Zone Speed just like Mario implying he took the time to train and unlock these abilities. There's more solid evidence that Luigi has the potential to grow stronger.

6:06:50
“I presented you with an opportunity to awaken your latent abilities.”

During the entire campaign of Mario Tennis Frenzy, Luigi as a Baby has been training and riding the coattails of Mario.

13:52
Luigi leaves for his own training.

26:38
Luigi is clearly seen training on his own.

43:10
“Just like you, Luigi has been training hard.”

1:01:34
Luigi joins Mario in a training session.

As stated by advisors, The Bros do get stronger and train during these adventures. So just like Mario, Luigi can level up.

In the MnL Series, Luigi consistently keeps up with his brother. Most importantly, Just like Mario, Luigi can alter the properties of his abilities and Attacks. Though he needs his brother's help for this.

3:38
Thunder Bros.
Variant 1:
Damages multiple targets with thunder and lower defense.

Variant 2 Gained from Advanced:
Strikes 1 target for more damage with thunder and lowers attack instead of defense.

While Luigi needed his brother's input, he's still the one applying alterations to how his ability functions. Even then, he's capable of advancement of his own, such as his LUIGI LOGIC.

With Luigi Logic, Luigi essentially has a boost of intelligence which allows him to come up with solutions to problems in and outside of combat.

Luigi Logic however is not limited to Intelligence. He's fully capable of creating entirely new Bro Moves he and his brother never used, such as UFO Spin, A Luigi Original Ability. He can also alter these moves properties as well, similar to Mario Advanced.

0:13
“You feel a new ability coming on?”
Creation of Bro UFO.

6:50
Luigi alters the properties of UFO Spin to gain UFO Vacuum.

8:00
Luigi Unlocks Ball Blitz which Increases bro balls speed.

With all the evidence I’ve compiled through multiple games, It's clear Luigi has similar potential to his brother Mario. He consistently keeps up with his older brother. Has the same statements in regards to getting stronger and being strong. He also shares the same ability to progress his abilities or alter the properties of existing abilities. With a few added Bonuses, he's able to create new abilities and have massive boosts in intelligence, momentarily surpassing Mario's experience in situations that even has him stumped.

Onto the Wario bros now.

WARIO/WALUIGI
Just like Mario, The Wah’s have the ability to unlock latent power and potential as seen from their ability to use Zone Speed and Zone Shot.

Wario and Waluigi are also capable of training to increase their physical capabilities. This has been something they were always capable of back in Mario Power Tennis.

1:50
We even see them getting better and reaching Bowser's level of Skill.

In Mario Tennis Frenzy, It's alluded to that The Wario Brothers have the same potential as Mario and Luigi. However, they don't train as much as either bros. They do train but not to the same extent or as much, which causes them to fail in performance.

However, they manage to just Barely Match both Mario and Luigi and it's stated they would benefit from training meaning they are also capable of growth.

9:47
The BB Wah’s are reluctant but train at the academy to kill some time.

30:23
Toad implies that the Wah’s were momentarily inspired to train from watching Mario. They clearly pay a visit to the Train center here.

44:25
The Wah’s are clearly able to compete with the Bros who had gained a good portion of their strength back.

46:55
“We’re gonna catch up with you.”
Wario confirms they are and have been Training.

1:42:59
Wario once again confirms that Him and Waluigi off screen have been doing their own training and a little bit of scheming.

With the ability to learn Zone Shot/Speed, Train to match Bowser and keep with both Mario and Luigi, it's clear that both Wah’s are fully capable of exponential growth within a short time. They sadly waste that potential by cheating, scheming, playing dirty and being lazy. However when necessary, they can work hard and train to either keep up or match with superior opponents and unlock new abilities.

Sidenote:
2:39:20
Peach also implies that Leveling up, working hard and getting stronger isn't something exclusive to Mario either.

Should the evidence be accepted, Luigi should qualify for the following:

Accelerated Development.
Training.
Leveling.
Physical statistics.
Intelligence.
Abilities.

Should the evidence be accepted, The Wah's should qualify for the following:

Accelerated Development.
Training.
Leveling.
Physical Statistics.
Abilities.

There's some good alternatives listed here like Catbox and Imgchest

So, does everyone get "higher via Accelerated Development" or something?

I feel as though that's something to be discussed later in a different post. I have other post plans but I'm waiting for the grace period on The Super Mario Wonder DLC to pass before I start talking about it.

Oh. Because I was gonna propose "higher via Accelerated Development" for the cast, but maybe you and I can work on that together?

Yeah this is alright, guess it jumpstarts the whole AD thing that was brought up in the general discussion thread (I will miss Class Y lifting strength for the whole cast once it's fully implemented, Toad lifting planets is based but not meant to be) but that's a bit off topic.

Also, What's going on with the lifting strength?
It's just that the Class Y ratings come from a feat done by Luigi near the end of Brothership after he and Mario have already leveled up a bunch and gotten stronger thanks to their accelerted development, doesn't make much sense for like Wart or whatever to scale to stronger versions of the Bros than what he faced but like I said, a bit off topic and is something to go over in the future.

I thought I commented on this before, but guess I didn’t lol, uh, yeah, agree
