Matthew Mercer dubbed characters-Jotaro(Eyes of Heaven) vs Hit

Plus superior time stop as even those that have time stop res cant resist HADIO's time stop. SPOH=TWOH

Yes but Over Heaven stands can only rewrite things when they are punching things apparently, that was DIO's disadvantage, also Hit isn't 'stopping time' it's more of like using the skipped time itself to trap people in a cage of time in which he has full control over, this also makes it look like time is frozen in others perspectives when it isn't. If Hit manages to somehow trap Jotaro in his time bind, he could manage to use his rapid punching technique from DBFZ to end it, Hit physically is already way stronger than Jotaro, but his stand is stronger than Hit, then again, his stand needs to be punchings things in order to rewrite them, Hit's time Skip is hard to explain, it just works. That being said, Hit only needs to land one fatal blow to defeat Jotaro. Like the punch he used to kill SSJB Goku. Hit could also shift dimensions to make himself intangible to any of Jotaro's attacks, if Hit does this when Jotaro stops time, he'll be unphaseable. For now it depends on who hits first at this rate.

Jotaro actively uses his time stop in character, and he uses it to avoid and counter blows he normally otherwise cant dodge (also uses it to help others, like Koichi when Okuyasu tried to kill him).

If Jotaro notices Hit utilizng time fuckery, he'll definitely counter with his own. Also do note that SP can hit intangibles, and Jotaro actually has dimensional travel as well, much greater then Hit's even.

While it's a who hits first situation, idk in my opinion Jotaro has more ways to hit first and ways to counter Hit's methods of hitting first. Plus SP is invisible, so are Hits intangible attacks but Jotaro can see Hit perform those, while SP is straight impossible to see.

Can't hit just do that thing where he punched Goku from meters away without touching him?
Yeah, but there's an extremely blatant tell for that. Given Hit reels back and throws a punch to send the intangible beam out. Also thinking on it, woud Hit even take Jotaro seriously? SBA dictates willing to kill but in character. Given he'd sense Jotaro's pl of like, 8, he'd probably just do a casual intange hit or chat him up a bit like he does to his usual assasination targets. Neither will actually put Jotar down right away as Jotaro can Overwrite his stopped heart or have SP restart it (but given he has SPOH, he can just skip the middle man and go to fine right away) and then instantly retaliate and take Hit by surprise with a time stop. And chatting Jotaro up in a time freeze will probably get him to counter with time stop, given it's i a time freeze.

I think Hit's own staggering power advatage is gonna bite him a tad in this match.

>both out of character

Completely ignore what I said. It's literally a who think's first situation, not even a who hits first.

Not in character he sure as hell doesnt, especially against an average opponent. We see how Hit takes out opponents that he doesnt deem an actual threat or challenge, which are just average dudes. He just casually stops their heart and walks away, no punch, no ki, no effort, he even talks to them a bit.

But that doesnt matter, they're bloodlusted apparently.

Out of character would mean instant time stop into overwrite or some random bullshit like soulstealing. Out of character basically means anything is free game.

Also Jotaro actually did use overwrite offensively, it's just that he only had SPOH for like, idk half a minute? And only landed one attack utilizing it in general. And it was against Heaven Dio, so who knows how'd he react to someone that aint Dio.

Is this battle thread a sequel to the one where Jotaro beat Goku: Xeno in a fight? If so, then Jotaro gives Hit the Goku: Xeno treatment.
