During soul society arc he used those unamed soul reapers to trap the ryoukas and exploding them if they did not succeed with their plan and using nemu to hold on to Ishida and using her to get to him by injuring her and the sword passing through her body his uryu ishida's bodyand he succeeded in injuring him as while she was hugging him before she decided to let go which prevented him from doing further damage to him through her body.

I've seen in character weaknesses on certain wiki pages before. In their personality that can affect in a fight. Has he shown not to be toying in battle?

He is NEVER toying in a fight. His closest to toying fight was with Szayel, but that was a certain win for Mayuri no matter what. He is a scientist so he is prolonging fights to make his drugs effect opponent, wouldn't call this a weakness.
