Hello, everybody! Migue79 here to bring you all a CRT. This CRT will simply be for references later on and prove this game's secondary canon status (shoutout to Ace the Robot and Black Pen for the help)

So! All the evidence brought forth is from the game itself and from the Mega Man X DiVE Official Complete Works:

1. So the first piece of evidence is that this game was made by Capcom themselves. Technically it was their subsidiary Capcom Taiwan, but workers of the Mega Man team from Capcom Japan would constantly come to work on the project (Mizuno). Basically, the game was made and supervised by the same company that made the initial works.
2. The game is also stated to take place in the official world of Mega Man X and it's supposed to expand upon this world (by both exploring canon details like Light being a Street Fighter fan and showing us what would happen if Iris and Colonel were successfully merged into a robot). The original characters from the games even show up as they were.
3. The actual MegaMan.EXE, Lan Hikari, Geo Stelar, Sonia Strumm and Rogue show up straight from the main stories in this game the latter through rifts created by errors, thus proving that this takes place in the official Mega Man Universe.
4. One of the key plot points of the game is that RiCO, ViA, iCO and other DiVE OCs would disappear from existence if they fixed the Deep Log and somehow didn't figure out how to become a part of the Mega Man X's universe and story (in other words, become canon). And by the ending, we see RiCO still physically exists in this universe long after the Deep Log has been corrected.

Hopefully this is enough to prove that this is a story that happens in the Mega Man Universe independent of the main chronology. Any proposition for other keys and further upgrades for certain characters will be discussed in another CRT. This is it for now.

Asking out of ignorance, but what is X-Dive in universe? I was under the impression it was a simulation or virtual world of sorts, but never looked too much into the story.

It’s a sort of meta-fictional but actually multiversal story that takes place in Cyberspace (or Deep Log more specifically). All kinds of data are inside of it, including past data (see Xtreme 1).

Since the data determines the canon in verse, is High-Godly possible for everyone?

Cyberspace, that was the word I had completely forgotten.

Happens to everyone.

No. One would need a lot of evidence for that level of regen. Also, I legit said this kind of stuff would be discussed in another CRT :/

Bump. Got 1 staff approval. Think I need 1 more for this kind of CRT…? Could be wrong…?

Seems very clean cut, more than fine with it! (Man this is gonna lead to some funky things in future CRTs, won't it?)

I have not. I’ll try asking.

It is, yeah.

Still need 1 more staff approval, though.
