I would say yes, especially since COTE is going through some CRTs and TR will too once some people will be free to make CRTs again, so things will change anyway.

For the record, you don't necessarily have to delete a newly created Vs thread. If you want to, you can just change the characters used so that it becomes a completely different matchup.
