Multiplier Question

Let’s say that one character gets into a fight with an enemy comically stronger than they are. Like, the character is so much weaker than the enemy that one punch makes them makes them vomit up copious amounts of blood and a brutal beatdown from the enemy makes leaves them only able to move via sheer force of will and a f__kton of adrenaline. However, when the character activates a technique that amplifies their strength twofold, the character is suddenly capable of putting up a relatively even fight with the enemy and consistently blocking their attacks. Would this be considered a contradictory multiplier?

If pre-multiplier they're only surviving these hits through sheer force of will, and are otherwise being completely curbstomped then post-multiplier putting up an even fight should be fine unless there's inconsistencies.

if there was another unrelated character to this interaction who could hurt the enemy and in turn harm the character without the same stomping effects, that would be a contradictory multiplier.
