Well, no. If she won, i’m sure Jigen would’ve shown up and clapped her and took over her Shinju.

Yup the battles have been more like little skirmishes. Also little strategic and tactical depth since Kodachi went away.

Tbf, however, most of the fights in TBV have been one way stomps. Boruto vs. Code, Shinju vs. Boruto, Boruto vs. Mitsuki, Hima vs. Jura, all were one sided. Against Hidari, they probably just wanted to get it out of the way because the only purpose of the fight was to get more in depth with Uzuhiko and reveal the existence of Thorn Soul Bulbs. Hope the important fights will be longer and have more depth.

I think that's pretty well explained and makes sense. I mean the common link is literally Boruto and Jura who are stated to be two most powerful entities currently. I don't think any of these fights could have been evenly matched.
 
Shinju Fights:
  1. Jura — Boruto/Kawaki
  2. Hidari — Sarada/Sumire/Delta
  3. Matsuri — Konohamaru/Hima/Ino-Shika-Cho
  4. Bug — Daemon
  5. Shinki (?) — Mitsuki/Koji

It’s just my assumption. In terms of his “target”, I can see it being Gaara or Kawaki if they try to connect to the Anime, but otherwise he and Mitsuki did have that fight in the CE and KK vision did focus in on him. So, just guessing if they’re giving Mitsuki something to do, it’ll be that Shinju.

Would be awesome having the 2 SM users team up to face him.

Assuming based on the Design, it’s Shinki.

They didn't actually fight in the manga lol

But Gaara just makes more sense, or Boruto. Since he was hella jealous of Boruto joining the fight against the Otsutsuki and he stayed behind despite being stronger than him (links are in his profile if u wanna check)
 
So we're talking 400 Shinju right? Anyone thinks this is gonna end up becoming a war? If so, the series might end sooner than I thought.

Shinju army created ==> Destruction of leaf ==> Defeating Shinju army ==> Kawaki vs Boruto

Because the destruction already happened in the flashforward, I don't see the army attacking after Kawaki vs Boruto. Would you guys like if this Shinju business is dragged till the end? Or would y'all prefer a separate threat for the end with the Shinju being more like the pain arc of TBV. The foreshadowing stuff really point towards Jura a lot. Personally I think it would be a real shame if we never explore the history and whereabouts of the Otsutsuki clan.

I'm pretty sure they all target the person their host was closest to, not just whoever the host wanted to fight.

He destroyed mountains with a simple swing of Susanoo's sword, and now he have to see people destroying several trees be said to be stronger than him (by this site).
