Hi guys, I've compiled a few moves and I think that we can add these abilities to the trio...

-Scary Face (Dialga, Palkia and Giratina) = Stat Manipulation

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Scary_Face_(move)

-Metal Burst (Dialga) = Attack Reflection

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Metal_Burst_(move)

-Destiny Bond (Giratina) = Status Effect Inducement

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Destiny_Bond_(move)

-Ancient Power (Dialga, Palkia and Giratina) = Possible Statistics Amplification

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Ancient_Power_(move)

-Ominous Wind (Giratina) = Possible Statistics Amplification

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Ominous_Wind_(move)

-Dragon Breath (Dialga, Palkia and Giratina) = Possible Status Effect Inducement

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Dragon_Breath_(move)

-Aura Sphere (Dialga, Palkia and Giratina) = Aura Manipulation

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Aura_Sphere_(move)

This is good?

Why would Aura sphere be probability manipulation?

That aside aura manipulation... it isn't much different from shooting an energy ball here... but suppose technically that's fine (though completly irelevant for the characters you want to add it to... then again that can be said for most things)

Metal burst isn't attack reflection, since you actually get the damage of the attack. You don't reflect it, it is merely a counter attack.

To destiny bond the same thing as for perish song: It makes the opponent faint, not die.

Status Effect inducement and Statistic amplification are fine IMO.

DT pretty much said everything I wanted to say.

Aura Sphere is only infinite accuracy via Game Mechanics when in animation is is no more than a Hadoken.

And manipulation of the aura?

Sorry friend, I have not read your comment very well (ÔöÇ´╣ÅÔöÇ)

I'd like to also add Creation in the profile of Palkia and Giratina.

For obvious reasons ┬»\_Òâä_/┬»

I'd also like to add these 2 abilities:

-Possible Resistance to Time Manipulation for Palkia (It constantly fights against Dialga)

-Possible Resistance to Spatial Manipulation for Dialga (It constantly fights against Palkia)

I suggest the following:

- add Status Effect inducement, Statistics amplification and Statistics manipulation

- add all those attacks and their descriptions to the profiles as techniques

- add Creation (Helped create space and the multiverse) to Palkia

- Creation for Giratina seems plausible since it is a member of the creation trio, but the only feat I know is Giratina creating parts of a pillar to repair it (from the manga). If that qualifies as creation, than I support it.

"Three Pokémon there were.
Into the lakes they dove.
Deep, deep, drawing no breath.
Deeper, deeper they dove.
Into suffocating depths they dove.
Deeper, then deepest they alight.
From the lake floor they rise.
Bearing with them the power to make
vast lands
, they rise again."
Creation or Reality Warping for the Lake Trio?

Those two things make sense as well.

The trio Lake also should get these resistors because in the manga were completely immune to the universal reset of Dialga, as it explains @TheMightRegulator.

Also the fact that their work is keeping them calm.

@DontTalk

About Metal Burst, are we going strictly by the games' definition? In the anime, it was shown to be fired preemptively in order to absorb oncoming attacks and strike the opponent in one go.

I just wanted to ask about this since I edited the heck out of Bastiodon's profile and added Metal Burst there with that definition.

I don't know the rules for composite pokémon stuff.

I would suppose those that only have it by game definition also only get it in the form that the game has it.

While those that have it in the anime and use it the way you describe have it that way as well.

Better you ask someone that knows the composite rules about that though.

Well, in that case I would think it is best to go after game definitions here.

From what I remember from the anime Ash and some of his pokémon had some unique applications/versions of moves, that other trainers didn't have for example.

So basically trainers or pokémons in the anime can to a certain degree change/invent a new attack based on an existing one, which might not be how anyone, except the pokémon that is shown to use it, can use the attack.

From the two panels I can't quite tell for sure, but I don't think so.

Attack reflection is reflecting the attack, not tanking it and then returning an attack with more/equal damage.

So if Giratina took damage and then used an attack that did as much damage as the one it took, that wouldn't be attack reflection, since giratina tanked the attack.

@DontTalk

"Dragon Breath acts as hax and is able to use an opponent's attack potency, and turn it against them, empowering the attack in the process (Ignores attack potency). It destroyed a portion of a platform."

Is a description taken from the thread of @Might about the feats of the manga.

If it's not enough we could add the ability to counter-attack to Giratina profile...

Alright, Stat manipulation is alright, maybe a blog should be made to explain what moves are, I might work on it later

It would be nice, thanks friend :)

@Zexgen

It would be extremely limited Power Nullification, but it's almost not worth adding since it only works if the target's attacks are virtually identical to the user's.

Imprison - Using their psychic power, but limited knowledge on their opponent, X will prevent their opponent from using any of the moves that X knows - Mind Control or some form of Psychic block that leads into Power Nullification
