Pretty sure Guy one-shots with Sekizou Gears since Madara said getting hit dead on with one of those would probably kill him and Kakashi doesn't have insane regen like Madara does.

Idk about that, there's probably less than a 5x difference (Kakashi~10% Jigen, and Jigen>Base Naruto>Darui who's a threat to Base Momoshiki>Kaguya>>3E Juubidara>2E Juubidara = 88 Exatons)
I don't think he'll get hit if he strategizes around it
Cause Kakashi's speed section is outdated, he's just rated as relative to his War Arc self

Anyway Guy should have a far higher advantage with AoE attacks and Sekizo which amps his speed a fuckton, something Kakashi doesn't really have answers to. But Kakashi also uses substitution in character and usually hides and analyzes his opponent before actively fighting head to head, so it's possible that Kakashi can play the long game and get Guy to tire out/die out. Or somehow manage to land a Purple Lightning.
This really depends on the location because if it's in an open space, Kakashi doesn't really stand a chance, but if it's inside the village or in a foresty area his chances increase alot more

This is either a Guy W or a hard incon if Kakashi can manage to outlast the Sekizo Gears.

I don't think Guy overwhelms Kakashi that quickly.
Kakashi has a good head on his shoulders, has seen 8th Gate Guy fight, and has numerous ways to survive against Guy (Clones, Substitution, He can drag Guy into the ground from behind which can set up Purple Lightning etc etc)
Like if I'm being honest here, if Guy gets close range, Kakashi can bait him to attack a Raiton Clone which will paralyze and electrocute him, which can allow Kakashi to come up from behind or above and stab/cut Guy with Purple Lightning. Kakashi has a ton of options here

You're forgetting that Guy also knows exactly how Kakashi fights as he's fought him and alongside him for years, so Guy has a pretty solid idea of what he should do as well despite his time limit, especially since Sekizou Gears will just keep making him faster and faster as the fight progresses.

Yes but that's assuming Kakashi is going to let the match last long enough for the Gears to blitz him.
Kakashi knows about them so if anything he'll want to take care of Guy sooner rather than later.
Guy's first move is going to be Sekizo like he used against Madara, which Kakashi is well aware of, so Kakashi should be able to substitute away, make a Raiton Clone to bait Guy to attack, stun him, and beat him with Purple Lightning.
This isn't even an out of character nor highly convenient play, this is how Kakashi fights in character and with SBA being Central Park, Kakashi has numerous hiding spots where he can trick Guy and beat him.

I really don't see Guy winning. This Kakashi is much more experienced than when he used to tie p1/shippuden era Guy and unlike Guy doesn't suffer from intense pain every time he moves. Kakashi is also waaaayyyy smarter and more versatile. Guys AP advantage is negligible since he Guys not exactly landing a direct hit here.
Also idk how the wiki treats Retsuden novels but if they're considered canon then Kakashi poops all over Guy with things like AOE fire style that insta-evaporates 6 paths enhanced water release and his ridiculous stamina.

Kakashi would almost certainly not be running head on into a fight with Eight Gates Guy, regardless of how strong you think Kakashi is in his New Era key. He isn't an Ego Maniac Glutton for Punishment like Madara.

I don’t see why not tbh. He did use a double chidori to negate Kakuzus lightning and purple lightning clearly has the range to block attacks from Guy.

Well there are pretty much 3 options.
1. Kakashi slices it in half
2. Kakashi blocks it
3. Kakashi at least partially weakens it
Either way Sekizo is not taking him down in one or two shots which is pretty important as even landing a single hit would be really hard for guy
