Non-combat profiles question

Have the deleted profiles, and their semi-locked page protections for editing and moving, been restored?

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but there are some other profiles like Dora the Explorer that might need to be looked at. I personally for deleting this one, given that its justifications are shaky at best (from what I can remember, the "stars" are nowhere near the size of real stars).

@Reppuzan Profile with extremely questionable or nonexistent justifications are an ongoing problem. It is possible that we should get a specific official thread for discussions about deleting them.

I'd rather make a thread where profiles that are desperate need of work or deserve to be deleted can be added.

That way, Staff members can review them before deletion rather than deleting every profile willy-nilly over general criteria.

This is a thread to report profiles and pages that users come across that are sorely lacking in justifications, have poor formatting, or are otherwise unacceptable by our wiki's standards.

Please report any such profiles to this thread to see if the profiles are liable for deletion or if they can be revised with a Staff Member's or user's help.

@Reppuzan I think that your wording seems fine, although we should probably also mention that regular members are only allowed to report profiles, and that only staff members are allowed to discuss in the thread. Othervise it would likely quickly get out of hand.

I think that wording seems fine. Thank you. I can start a thread in the Wiki Management forum if you wish.

However, we have a minor problem: The Profile Deletion Request Thread should preferably be included in the wiki navigation bar, under "Featured: Wiki Management", but we already have the maximum of 10 links in that folder. Should we replace one of the threads, or split the section into "Wiki Management 1" and "Wiki Management 2"?

I think this new thread would replace the old Article Clean-Up thread, since that thread hasn't been used in months with the first real post being made over a year after its inception.
