Origin of Grimm - RWBY CRT

So the Pools of Grimm, the source of the terrible monsters that plague Remnant. But besides endlessly spawning Grimm, there are other things that the pools do as well. First they appear to be harmful to organic lifeforms, as when a tree fell in, it was turned to dust. I am unsure what this would constitute as, but I think this would be Deconstruction, since the effect looks similar to when the God of Light deconstructed Ozma's body, but I could be wrong.

However, the main part of this thread is that the pools can also corrupt a person. As we see with Salem, the pools were unable to kill her due to her immortality, so they instead turned her into a Grimm hybrid. Besides the obvious pale skin and red eyes, this can be made evident in the episode Witch. When Hazel smashed her head in, instead of bleeding blood she instead has the same matter as the Grimm Pools. We even see her insides are composed of it too, as when Yang blew up her chest, her inside is shown to have it.

As such, Salem should have Corruption on her profile as she is capable of controlling the Grimm Pools seen in both Midnight and War. Also, the God of Darkness should not only have this as well, since he created it, but resistance to it, as he emerged from one with no issue when confronting Salem. Also, if it is accepted that the pools have Deconstruction, then the two should get it as well.

Also if people forgotten the pools of Grimm can kill anything that goes into it (death manipulation/life force absorbing) and only reason it corrupted Salem was because of her infinite life force aka immortality

I mean... Is this really Resistance to Corruption given how dark and evil he already was?

I don't know how we treat corruption and resistance.

But does Type 1 physical corruption and deconstruction for the Grimm Pools seems fine?

Since the Pools corrupts people it can't destroy into something that has a desire for pure destruction, obviously the GoD would be unaffected as he already has those desires in full.

So I guess resistance wouldn't be possible here.

Alright to summarize, Type 1 Corruption and Deconstruction for Salem and the God of Darkness is fine while resistance to Corruption for the latter is not.

However, from the likes on Spinoirr's post is resistance to Deconstruction and Life-Force Absorption okay for both instead?
