I have recently noticed a lot of scalers (Mostly those on TikTok) have been getting Outerversal mixed up.
For example today, there is this TikTok who scales charmed characters, they believe that because a realm was stated to be “A realm that exist in infinity, outside of time and space.” The statement was vague and instead of lowballing it and going with low complex multiversal, they stated that the charmed characters were Outerversal (Keep in mind, in the same video where they state this, they stated that characters from charmed reboot are low complex multiversal because they’re stronger than 5D beings who are stated to be beyond time and space).
They stated “You’re misunderstanding both the context and how scaling works. The Ancient Burial Ground is explicitly described as outside time and space and untouchable by normal reality, and the Hollow is contained within it in a way that it cannot exist outside the realm. That isn’t just “existing within a realm” it’s interacting with the defining property of the realm, which VS Battle Wiki recognizes as a valid scaling method for higher-dimensional or outerverse feats. 5D realms are still within the concept of time and space, yes but the Ancient Burial Ground is explicitly outside it, making it fundamentally different. Interacting with something that cannot exist in normal reality or outside the realm itself is not the same as a standard ranged attack or existing in a multiversal-level 5D space. VS Battle Wiki scaling allows feats that bypass or engage the core metaphysical function of a realm, not just feats that destroy or create, so your argument that “existing within a realm ≠ scaling to it” doesn’t apply here.”
I told them directly, “That is completely untrue. The realm itself was created to isolate the hollow, I never denied that. The point is that it is directly stated on vsbw, to scale to a realm you need to UNIVERSALLY affect, create, or destroy that realm. It is never stated that affecting thing inside of that realm equates to the tier of that realm. If so show proof for that.
Higher dimensional beings ≠ things existing within that realm. To be a higher dimensional being would mean to have the same fundamental existence as that realm meaning your existence equates to the existence of that realm.” I said more but I don’t want y’all to have to read all of that.
