Paradox Question/What is the HAX of this?

That would be if we assume that Paradoxes in that verse alter the timeline, some times travelling back in time does not case ripples across time: one may travel back in time a kill itself and that does not necessary means the time traveller will disappear from existance.
 
I got no clue what that means or gives
I mean, the definition of an angel in your macrocosm is "They are heavenly and spiritual beings, God's servants like men, who serve as God's helpers or messengers."

In this context, there is the existence of an angel who has free will and is merciless, incompatible with the original definition, hence the Paradoxal Existence.
