Patrick Bateman downgrade

So after going through whole thread I can infer that:

1. Bateman being asserted as "Gifted" is at maximum very ambiguous, giving that nothing says that he was brilliant student but neither something says that he wasn't

2. Nobody provided any sensible arguments while Pats can be evaluated as "10-A, likely higher" rather than just "10-A"

3. His page is abound of false information, feats from other irrelevant media and incorrect scaling

4. The widely established points on this site for some reason contains wrong information

My conclusion? He, in my opinion, should receive total donwgrade in almost every single facet within his disposal

Absolutely none in this load of messages showed me any substantial evidence to support their defending stances regarding Bateman, and everything in his favor either were carried by plainly fabricated and unreliable stuff which omitted crucıal contex for their positions, and subsequently were relatively easily refuted, regardless whether it being purged by me or other well-versed users

Here I going to depict what I, personally, demands to do with his page and what seems to be most appropriated for estimation based on available stuff

Remove "Possiby higher" ratings for each individual of his physical parameter

Reason: Lack of feats

Terminate sentence of him allegedly breaking bones

Reason: Just contrived thing that never occured in the movie

Downgrade Ls to "At least Above Average"

Reason: Also absence of feat

Decrease "Gifted" to "Above Average, possibly higher"

Reason: He supposedly graduated from Harvard, but the level of education is open to intepretation and his onscreen feats shows only Above Average level

Swap "Law School" on "Business School"

Reason: Simply a wrong fact

Insert particular note that his feats section contains composite material and mostly isn't applicable to the rest of his page.

Reason: Pretty what has been stated above, and since this page primary refers to movie version

Remove "Peak Human characteristics" from abilities section

Reason: It literally contradicts to ranking even on his current messy page

Can we add "Remove Peak Human Physical Characteristics" as none of his stats are peak human anymore & thus he doesn't warrent that rating

Well, I still think he has that Peak Human or At Least Athletic Human likely Peak Human Stamina because of 1000 crunches, 1 more thing is Patrick get a drug but he doesn't look like afflicted much and he will kill a model while in this shape however drug might not be strong enough to control human body. And here is a video about Patrick's full story this would work on scaling his novel profile and this profile although I still think chase scene happened however I can't prove it.

  • His LS is being changed to “At least Above Average Human”
  • His intelligence is being changed to “At least Above Average”
  • And his stamina stays at “At least Athletic”

Technically, using this site, you are right about 9-C stamina. But here is evidence of established requrements in our site just being wrong

Again, the 1,000 crunches is 1/20th of peak human

Also idk why you're bringing up the drug thing, drugs don't spontaniously sap away your stamina. If anything most drugs do the exact opposite. The only drug we see him take on-screen (to my knowledge) is cocaine, which gives you a large boost of energy

Also I'm guessing that's a book feat because I don't remember anything like that in the movie

Gotta disagree with you here. Here's a quick list of what's required for peak human stamina
Andy Bowen and Jack Burke (Their boxing match back in 1893 lasted 110 rounds and resulted in Burke breaking both of his hands, though they were not fighting competently for anywhere close to the entire time; by the 105th round they weren't even throwing punches anymore)

Rocky Marciano (A less ambiguous example, Rocky could box for 15 rounds without any significant drop in performance)

Dean Karnazes (He ran 560 kilometers in 80 hours without any sleep)

Andreas Mihavecz (He survived 18 days with no food and very minimal water)

Jacques Roellinger (Survived getting shot, cut and stabbed numerous times, getting tortured by burning splinters of wood on his chest, having a fragment of an exploding shell embedded in his thigh, having his lungs damaged by a passing bullet, getting bayonetted through the liver and diaphragm, and finally being shot right through the jaw. His only lingering ill effect was a stiff knee)
These are like, the minimum requirements for Peak Human stamina, and I don't think 1,000 crunches is quite on the same level as running 560 km without sleep or getting turned into a human pin cushion and continuing to fight in a war

He qualifies really well for Athletic Human but not anything higher

Well I changed my mind into straight Peak Human to At least Athletic Level, likely Peak Human.
 
By the way, I have checked his novel version's page and it also contains flaws (For example, it continue to claim that he received a wrong education. Says that he crushed a skull, when in reality the scan only show that he smashed his victim's jaw in 6 punches and forced her face to cave in on itself, without implication that he actually crushed a skull) and misses few haxes (Such as preparation, Acid manip and etc)
