Can you offer a reason? As far as I can tell, Kratos's resistances and hax potency is above everyone in the setting right now.

aight so idk if the OP can have an opinion on this, but this is my take:
Kratos takes everything, except resistances, Phainon actually has a lot of decent resistances, which I don't see how kratos can bypass them. So for that my vote goes to phainon

honkai and imaginary energy are both UES of the verse Honkai energy originates from the imaginary so the hsr supporters argued hsr characters have it? i myself am kind of skeptical of it but i mean welt and vita are in hsr so wtv. (i dont feel like deleting it but its just some imaginary internal energy stuff)

Resistance to Conceptual Manipulation Type 3 and (Abstractions【Type 1】, Concept【Type 1】& Nonexistence【Nature〈Type 1〉; Aspects 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5〈Other: Time & History〉】and some others, am not too deep into the lore (I skipped the story my bad) but I know he has more, ill wait for supporters

Kratos has layered Info Type 2 and Type 1 CM, he's bypassing this just fine.
He also has all of Athena, Ares's and Hades's powers so he has several thought based options to just end this.
Does Phainon have any tricky defense (regen, NEP, etc.)?

I think his win cons are his amps, I think his amp is a lil higher than kratos while enraged. So I could see him maybe come down to that
am not knowladble on the honkai story itself, am more knowlagable on GOW as its like my top 3 games. I would wait for the supports because this is a mydei vs kratos situation all over again

Yeah I think only the blackhole here is doable and maybe Subjective Reality on Trickery section where Phainon's lies would be true and when Phainon ends the Amphoreus cycle since he resisted the passive stuff like the one within the Coreflame of Death albeit I don't know if he'd resist overwhelming aura alone on there but I do know he resists like deconstruction and death manipulation which are the main haxxes of it anyway. Also like the Erudition page is still being reworked rn, we still don't have the acausality type 3, immortality type 9 added which is the deciding factor whether this is a stomp or incon at best (which theoretically still would be stomp if Kratos is able to counter blackholes but yeah the blackhole here is more of like a DC feat so unless Kratos is Infinite Low 1-C then I'd still say it's pretty doable)

He resists outright reality warping, so I'm unsure on the Trickery stuff actually doing anything.
Also, what exactly do you mean by infinite Low 1-C here? If it's scaling to a space with all 5 dimensional axes being infinite in scope then Kratos counts. If you mean like, infinitely above baseline, why would that be relevant at all? It's not like baseline Low 1-C isn't still far beyond what normal black holes can affect.
Edit: Wait, did you mean range? If so then yeah, Kratos isn't that big, though he has that range with the power of the Fates.
Also, is this a normal black hole or is there something special about it? And will Phainon be able to pull this out before Kratos just thinks and nulls via Ares's powers, or just rips his soul out with a gesture, etc.

so the black hole is supposed to be a universal reset, because when he does it the screen goes into static and then back to gameplay. So he literally resetes everything (I think its in the trailer too)
