This is gonna sound weird but when I tried typing Pukei’s tag it didn’t show up.

The Pukei scales to 2.14 tons meanwhile queen lancer is 6 tons I believe I could be wrong

OK, so it's at a Stat Disadvantage. However, it does have the Intelligence and Versatility Advantage, as well as being able to amp itself via getting Enraged to close the gap somewhat. I can see the Pukei-Pukei outsmarting the Lancer and whittling it down with Poison after it realizes how much stronger it is.
