Question about directly attacking internals

I saw this post and already kind of agreed that internals should somewhat match/be in the same ballpark as their externals. Though I also saw that OP said that it would still be an advantage and could allow someone to hit a tier above their current tier. I was just wondering just how far attack internals (organs, bones, heart, brain, etc) could hit, or is it only advantageous in the same tier?

Well piercing someone's Heart, Lungs or Brain would give a massive advantage even if the opponent scales way higher due to the vital position they have on his body

The original thread calls straight up attack internals and organs as limited dura neg as organs would kinda scale to the characters strength, I’m just wondering if it’s direct one to one or if something like a 1-2 tier gap is overcome-able through direct targeting

My point is that a Tier 8 have the ability to directly damage lungs by poisoning/corroding them or cause heart failure can count as a way to overcome a Tier 6 Durability

Poisoning/Corroding isn't Striking Strength. The topic explicitly tackles the resilience of organs to blunt-force trauma.

Piercing is physical blunt-force trauma but with a tiny surface area. It only maximizes efficiency of energy transfer, but is otherwise largely meaningless if there's no muscle behind it. A knife is only as good as its wielder, as is a sword.

Only advantageous in the same tier, ish, especially considering the topic is about blunt-force trauma. Poisons and other methods that bypass durability completely are not included here for obvious reasons.

Thank you, that’s what I was really asking about it. Just trying to see a cgm or general opinion on the topic
