For example, character X has a 10D feat, but his self is not 10D, only 10D as ap & dura, but the word "Higher Dimensional Existence" is mentioned for this character, would that be sufficient proof for the character X's self? If by « his self is not 10D » you mean he doesn’t have a direct statement of such an existence, then it would be possible to grant him 10D existence through HDE on such level I think, probably depends on context.
