Question about Slayers powerscaling

So, recently I've been consuming a lot of Slayers content and I became curious about the series' power scaling.

I discovered that there's a Lina page here (the creator did a great job, by the way), but I realized that this is just a Lina page from the anime, so I had a big question about it:
Has anyone here read the Slayers novels? If so, how strong are the characters there? Or do they remain at the same power level as in the anime?

Never read the original novels, i only watched the Anime years ago.
