Reactive Evolution, Accelerated Development, and how it works with level limitation

Hi, I tried looking into this topic in the site rules and asked the moderators, but it seems we don't have a clear understanding of the boundaries between RE and AD.

I'm interested in the following questions:

1)
We have two 8-A characters with AD ability. The first character can grow up to 7-B level. The second character can grow up to 6-B level. If we restrict the match to 8-A keys, will both characters become equally strong at some point, or for some reason will the second character still gain a multiple advantage in AP?

2)We have two 8-A characters. One has AD ability and has a strength of 500 tons of TNT, but can grow to oneshot his opponents within seconds and move to higher tiers. The second character has stats of 900 tons of TNT. Can the first character become strong enough to oneshot the second character, even if we restrict them to within 8-A?

3)The first character is at 500 tons of TNT and has AD+RE that allow him to instantly adapt to damage and defeat stronger opponents. However, in this key his level is "At least 8-A, far higher with AD". The second character has stats of 2 kilotons, i.e. a 4× advantage. Can the first character close the gap in their power or possibly surpass the second character through AD?

I think it'd be more about who reaches the highest 8-A first. Or it wouldn't really be a 8-A restriction, no?

It wouldn't be a restriction otherwise, ao their AD shouldn't make them stronger than a kiloton.

Does he have such feats of RE&AD? And he should also have a statement like being able to grow endlessy, something of that kind.

That clarifies better, was more confused on what you meant by RE (I had the impression it meant "Reality Equalization" or something). But the responses as well as questions I would have would probably be the same as what MrTayman laid out.

Here's where the loophole of the tier ceiling comes up. Look. We have a character who is at most 500 tons of TNT. And we also have a character who is far above someone who can oneshot someone who can oneshot someone... who performed a 750-ton feat. From what I've observed on this wiki, the second character oneshots the first character. Yet nominally, their difference is only 1.5×. You can have a huge scaling chain within a tier without hitting its upper limit. Likewise, Kratos messes with many 1-C tier characters thanks to a scaling chain and can blitz characters with "immeasurable" speed because he has a scaling chain. Even though, you'd think — how?
So they will just grow, but still remain within 8-A.

Same situation as with the point above.

No, but we know that his RE in other keys jumps between levels, and we haven't been shown the limits of his development.

A character may have the ability to grow incredibly strong, so much so that he can defeat those who opposed him just a second ago, but his level is 900 tons of TNT. In the profile, his level will be "8-A, far higher with AD". However, we will not assume that his AD is limited to 1 kiloton? If he faces an opponent with the same strength in the match, then his AD should make him strong enough to defeat with a punch.

The oneshot difference that doesn't appear visually in the profiles in terms of AP like 2 kiloton or things like "likely far higher" etc doesn't matter when you apply restriction, they'd at best scale to a kiloton.

As far as i know, we assume their highest level as limit as we don't really know how much further they can grow, aka a statement of endless growth or that kind of statement etc is required.
