"Reinhard throws his spear" is such a bad argument, because it ignores so much. Medaka All Fictions him before he throws the spear. Hell, Medaka All Fictions him before he can even say that speech that enacts his Briah. Medaka uses Unseen Hero + All Fiction Aura Erasure so Reinhard can't actually target her with the spear. Medaka re-opens every mental wound Reinhard has ever suffered in the decadilion years of Mercurius's resets. Medaka seals him with book maker. Hell, Medaka COPIES HIS BRIAH with the End, except 20% better.

All Fiction can clearly be used regardless of the user's state of being, considering it can erase her death (as in she is already dead when it is erased). And it's called all fiction because it makes all into fictio. Kumagawa was able to turn the concept of colour into fiction with it. So why wouldn't it or Non-Fiction be able to counter Reinhard's conceptual erasure? Maybe she straight up turns his spear into fiction.

Because there will be no Medaka to use All Fiction in the first place if she got hit by the spear. The "Medaka Kurokami" is now no longer a thing since she's conceptually erased. It goes more than just "she's dead", MGA's existance ending property will simply eliminate her very existance and concept. So there's nothing to be All Fiction'd nor there will be someone using All Fiction. And Briah stem from the user's eanermost craving. Unless now she has the same craving as Reinhard, she won't be copying anything in the first place. Even if she does, all she will get is just an empty castle with no souls within it.

He shruged off Methuselah passive fear aura. I don't see her opening his mental wounds will do anything significant to him. Heck, it's even arguable that he doesn't even has mental wound throughout his life as a human & as an Apostle. And Die Ewigkeit user can sense someone even if they're far away and/or invinsible, making her Unseen Hero useless. And his spear wasn't his Briah anyway, so no glorious chant (which is pretty fast to begin with) is needed.

Well monarch you clearly don't like Reinhardt lol. You have been making a lot of matches with him, probably want to see him lose, I understand, gets a bit frustrating hearing he throws the spear over and over. On a serious note though this sould be close, i hope at least, going to watch how it plays out.

@Celestial Pegasus Actually I like Reinhard a lot. I absolutely hate people saying "he throws his spear gg", because as I pointed out it ignores pretty much everything else. I don't want to see him lose. I want him to have a good fight. (which interestingly enough, is exactly what Reinhard himself wants). And it's really hard to give him a good fight when everyone just says "he throws his spear".

@Fabtastic Glasses, re-opening mental wounds is not attacking his mind. Resistance to Methusulah's fear aura is meaningless in this example, because Medaka opens mental wounds Reinhard has already felt - i.e they have already worked, Medaka is just making them work again. And like I said. All Fiction can affect concepts, as presumably can its equal/opposite Non Fiction, so she should be able resist conceptual erasure with it.

Technically it is. It still deal mental/mind damage by the end of the day, in which case Reinhard has a resistance for it. And it's even arguable that he doesn't has any "mental scars" to begin with. At most he got his past lament of "being born far too strong compared to everyone else" and when he recall that stuff, all it did was makes him more fired up and not despairing

usualy in battles that contains medaka box characters are stomp or be stomped.

I mean techincally medaka should by just looking at him know all his powers and get 120% of their power.

the same with encounter, since it's effect are instant and that even if there is no opening it will send the damage somewhere else, would mean that when the spear hit medaka it's effect would instantly just appear somewhere else. (or as far as I understand encounter)

also since all fiction can erase distance, medaka could probably use that to erase the distance between the spear and the edge of the universe as much as she wants, since even with the spears ability to ignore distance if two conceptual manipulation clashes it onlly depends on which is more powerful, but I think medaka would have more powerful conceptual manipulation considering she can just copy any ability and improve it for herself 120% making her a more powerful conceptual manipulator than reinhard.

also it says only he can wield it, but that is also and abillity that he can wield it, so I am not sure if medaka could copy reinhards abillity to wield the spear.

I am leaning onto medaka's side because of her ridicilously broken copy and improvement hax, but if anyone got more input on this I am more than willing to listen.

His spear is basically a part of himself, and reflects his Briah's ability to use the powers of his "subordinates" (read, people he has killed and enslaved the souls of). Basically, it will never stop chasing its target (Eleonore's Briah), always be faster than its target (Wolfgang's Briah) and will erase whatever it hits in one blow (Machina's Briah). It also can ignore the concept of distance, so basically the moment he throws it, it hits who he targets, regardless of how far away they are (not sure who it gets this power from). Additionally, if anyone else looks at the spear, their mind and soul begin to burn away, and if anyone else tries to use it, it burns away their existence as well.

Medaka has never regenerated from being erased. So saying All Fiction can help that is pure NLF. While Reinhard himself has mid-godly regen which would allow him to regenerate from being erased. The Encounter blocking an at least 6-A spear that ignores distance is also NLF. Especially when The Encounter best feat was blocking a attack from Misogi.

@Mefre : Encounter averting MVS's existance ending/erasing property is a NLF. Even the description says "The ability to push away all damage inflicted on her, including all physical, emotional, and mental damage, elsewhere." No Conceptual damage mentioned anywhere. And All Fiction wouldn't do anything to Longinus due to Muzpellheimr Lævateinn makes the spear unable miss the target + the spear's distance ignoring property. Trying to send the spear elsewhere would prove futile since the spear will still hit the target instantly. And Medaka trying to wield the spear would make her lose anyway, so that's out of the question

To be fair, All Fiction has been shown to work on a conceptual level, erasing all of the concepts of color in one storyline.

In addition, All Fiction works even if Medaka is dead, and Encounter is stated to be able to push away one's death as well.

Not sure how this would go to be honest.

From what I've seen, he's so hilariously above nearly everyone else in his home series that he first sics Machina and Eleonore on his foes before actually going in himself if they're on the verge of being defeated. But he'll definitely throw his spear at anyone who is a significant enough threat (i.e. Mercurius).

Of course, someone more knowledgeable than I should comment on the matter.

The Encounter is explicitly state to push away any physical or mental damage or even death, and death trumps damage. It doesn't even block it (i.e. head to head power collision), it just redirects it somewhere else (i.e. redirecting a river's flow, much easier than damming it up). The reason it can't block the spear isn't because the spear is at least 6-A, it's because it has the ability to erase whatever it hits.

Besides, Medaka with her strongest skills is much higher than 6-A

Specific statement on that being the case ? Anything on Medaka Box doesn't has soul in its verse ? I don't see why Medaka Box now doesn't has soul and thus let them bypass soul detection abilities in fiction just because one guy on the internet doubt that they have soul. Besides, by your own word, you're accepting the idea that Medaka Box has soul by saying "What is an aura but an emanatiom of the soul?" Medaka concealing her aura mean she has soul going by your own word. And Reinhard would still detect her anyway since what an Apostle detect is the very soul and not just an aura stemming from a soul
