Reopening a closed thread

If a vs thread is closed while the OP is locked out and unable to bump it because, say, their computer or laptop is not working and they can't access the internet, and because of this, the thread remains inactive for over a month, after the user gets their internet connection fixed and can access the site again, can they try to get the vs thread reopened after it was closed due to them not being able to bump it? Say, they were about to bump it or ask someone for their opinion on the match just before they lost their connection and didn't get it back for a month?
