In Chapter 123, Kikoru’s attacks was able to hit and damage the Meireki Kaiju despite it having an omni-directional forcefield of text surrounding it, and it is shown in Chapter 115 that this forcefield destabilizes projectiles that approaches it and turn it into smoke
And this isn’t a matter of strength as Kikoru admits to Kafka having to be the one to finish it and his attacks are causing the creature to bleed while Kikoru isn’t (Chapter 125), and Kafka is shown to not be able to penetrate the barrier (Chapter 123)
