Ruckerverse/Transrealist discussion thread

Could this potentially make crooked beettle High 1-A+ via Dreamer and the Dream relationship?

I have a few questions if you don't mind about cosmology.

On the map it shows Hillbert's Hotel, is this synonymous with Hillbert's space in this context or is Hillbert's space somewhere else?

And what is the Desert on the map?

Do you maybe know from what book this is from?
Contradictions are logically impossible,” I explained. “A universe containing contradictions cannot exist.”

“Glub gazork,” said the mermaid. And then she did something very strange. She lifted up her arms and…didn’t lift up her arms. At the same time. She winked/smiled at Harry/me. The sprite pinched my cheek with both hands. Yet at the same time she was tickling Harry.

“You see?” said the gnome. “Who are you to tell the universe what it can do.

Is the white light a pantheistic god?.
I found this on discord. i'm not that knowledgeable about the ruckerverse.(so i don't know is this is a real scan from a canon book.) Is this supposed to be taken seriously or just a "theory".

"This river," said Dee slowly, "it's been here for hundreds of years. It'll be here for hundreds more."

"We could live in this cave," observed Conrad. "Build fires and catch fish."

"Not in the winter."

"Do you believe in God, Dee?"

"Don't you?"

"I don't think so. Not really. Not like in church, anyway. Maybe the universe is God?"

"That's called pantheism. Everything fits together into a whole, and that Whole is God."

"That's like my own theory." Conrad explained about death and the life force.

So was this dude on to something or on something.
So he argue that TWL can't be tier 0 Because:

[TWL has no superiority in his verse, because he is classified as a Pantheistic God, meaning he is the universe, humans, animals and other creations. It is said to be "absolute" but because of that, TWL makes all of its creations absolute, meaning it has no superiority.]

This can be consider as a headcanon right?.

As far as I understand, monadic totalities are a wholeness/oneness while still considering everything as illusionary (Everything is God but the divine essence is ultimately dettached from the attributes of its creation), so it's not really an antifeat. Specially since, at its core, the cosmology is merely the White Light's thoughts. And it's beyond distinctions and definitions, so you cannot really attribute the White Light to its creations in any case. It's evidently way more than just a "The universe is God" situation.

Why everyone says "Transreal Trilogy was made for powerscaling"? I've read first book "The Secret of Life" and it's basically satire about religion and sex, and protagonist have something like canonical plot armor, he can fly or change size if his life is in danger. It sounds very non-powerscaling. Author goes insane after his first book or people just delusional?

I think it's because Rucker is pretty explicit when it comes to higher dimensions, infinities, and mysticism (because he is both a mathematician and sci-fi enthusiast), which normally gets a pretty high tier on any tiering system.

But the thing is, Ruckerverse is a very old verse. The White Light novel, for example, is from 1980. Thus, the verse predates every powerscaling site. So saying it the verse was made for powerscaling is just misinformation or lies.

I know it's old verse, but what book have the most craziness so people started to saying it's made for powerscaling? As I know, Transrealist have 37 books. I'm just wondering what specific moment led them to these thoughts.

I started read "White Light" book and yeah... I now understand people who said that it's made for powerscaling. But I like this surreal absurdism.
