Unless something happened in the second episode, Jaune would only be mhs in reactions and possibly short burst speed, not necessarily close combat speed, since he was only given the chance to display dodges.

I've noticed a lot of the characters are getting Flight/pseudo-flight abilities. First Ruby, now Blake can basically fly by making clones whenever she wants and jumping off of them. I don't think sun can make like, as many clones as he wants now so he can't fly or anything. But he can get pretty high up.

So in vol.4 ch.3, that sea dragon Grimm charges up a beam and fires it, but Sun and his clones throw the shot off course and it misses the boat. Blake is seen dodging that beam later on in the fight, would someone be able to Calc the speed of the beam using the size of the boat?

So yeah, this episode also gets us an idea of Salem's power, where Qrow says it'd take him, Glynda, Port, Oobleck and Raven to defeat her. While it's still way too early to make a profile, it does give us an idea of how strong she is.

I have to say, Tyrian's fight with RNJR was really good for the series. He has such an erratic fighting style, the likes of which we haven't really seen before. Really gives the fight its own sense of uniqueness.
Also, was really not expecting him to be a Faunus, much less a Scorpion one (Fun fact, crows actually eat scorpions, and what's Qrow's symbol?).

I wonder if Ren's ability to sense Tyrian is semblance related or he just has a very high mastery of aura, he seems to be the only person that shows it outside of combat ( first the king Taijitu and now this).

@Morlock I'm not sure, it seemed kinda like he was listening so my first thought was that it might be semblance related, but that could just be how he focuses to sense aura.
@everyone else Does that fight upgrade Tyrian, Qrow, and semblance enhanced Nora's movement speed to mhs? Tyrian dashed too fast for team RNJR to follow on multiple occasions, and Nora did something similar when she attacked Tyrian, while Qrow crossed from a building to where Ruby was to intercept one of Tyrian's strikes.

Episode 7 is confirmed to be released next weekend. So unbelievably hyped. The teaser on their twitter makes it seem like this will be an amazing fight.
