Well from what i'm getting, the tralier did show a different style of how Jack and Aku will appear, but people on Tumblr assume that Genndy will continue it from the last season of Samurai Jack. So weather this is a reboot or a season 5 is up to whoever thinks of it will be. Personally i think it's going to be a new season, tbqh. with ya.

I hope so. I know the comics had finished Jack's story, but hopefully Genndy decides to make a new season instead.
