Byakuya's gonna have a hard time hurting a guy made of sand when all of his attack'll pass through William, not to mention he possibly holds versatility. Sandman wins.

Is not DC, but paralysis and sealing spells. Can Sokatsui negate demon magic?

Don't know about sealing but paralysis won't work on a guy made entirely out of sand without any muscles to paralyze in the first place.

It doesn't affect muscles, Sai affects the soul. Since they are souls in the first place, it binds their hand behind their backs, and they are restrain to short body movements. In short it reduces their speed. Byakuya is a master at them, both prodigy as he was at the top of the class, and the databook backs it up, so we can assume he can use almost all of them, except for forbidden spells .

He's used Danku before, which counts as a forbidden spell because it bends time and space to make it.

Danku isn't classified as forbidden. The only forbidden spells that are known is Itto Kasso and the two kido that Tessai used in the turn back the pendulum arc. Anyway, Byakuya takes this, he's way more skilled and smarter than sandman and has a variety of moves to use. Sandman defiantly won't be surviving a post royal guard Byakuya Senkei or gokei
