Rayquaza's AP is honestly really confusing. He supposedly performed the 420 Zettaton as Mega Rayquaza but according to some others it was Deoxys who performed the 420 Zettaton feat. So nobody really knows if Mega Rayquaza either scales to or above 420 Zettaton but it should be somewhere around that strong.

Mega Rayquaza (420 Zettaton?) > Deoxys (420 Zettaton?) > Base Rayquaza > Primal Kyogre (84.417 Zettaton)

Base Rayquaza downscales from Mega Rayquaza and is above Primal Kyogre who is pretty casually 84 Zettaton. I think currently Mega Evolution is at least considered a 2x multiplier so Base Rayquaza would be 210 Zettaton or above it depending on who performed the 420 Zettaton feat.

Sasuke definitely has a better chance here, especially given Ray doesn't resist mindhax. Only here to correct a couple things.

No, Sasuke is not faster. They're likely equals. The feat Pokemon scales to is .01c faster than the feat Naruto scales to so they're obscenely close, but Sasuke isn't faster.

The fear is both, Deoxys and Rayquaza. Deoxys performed the feat, Rayquaza busted the feat. For an analogy, Deoxys is Vegeta's Galick Gun, Rayquaza is the KKx4 Goku.

That said, passive energy drain + spatial beams + amazing boosts + hundreds of millions of years experience advantage + literally always flying and nuking from the ozone layer = Rayquaza proves itself to be a great 5-B.

Sasuke can instantly genjutsu to win but Rayquaza just ducking off to the stratosphere asap kinda puts a wrench in that. And Dragon Dance destroys any physical advantage Sasuke has. Also, again, passive energy drain.

As for jumping to the stratosphere, Sasuke could do the same thing with Susano'o, couldn't he? Plus, doesn't his Rinnegan genjutsu (the one he used on Sakura) simply require line of sight? To play devil's advocate, if Rayquaza started to outpace Sasuke, it'd take just a single glance at Rayquaza to put him under a genjutsu and stall its movement.

In the manga he doesn't turn around a second time he just puts them all under with a single glance as the sage says

So he shouldn't need to look at people direct as long as they are within a certain AoE around him not that it matters that much for the debate

We currently scale Adult Sasuke > Kaguya, and Madara literally exploded when he absorbed Kaguya's chakra. So

Sasuke (New Era) > Kaguya > Exploded Madara with her chakra > 558zt. So, Sasuke is above someone who exploded a casual 558zt with her energy. And if Kaguya can one shot a 558zt chatacter, Sasuke can as well.

He can absorb its energy, force teleport it out the sky. Insta Stan it by looking at his sword and it.

He can see it's movements.

Bad analogy. Sasuke is half of Kaguya. That's what was agreed on wayyyyy back when. The scaling for Naruto is off.

Sasuke doesn't have the speed advantage at all given Shunsin doesn't let him fly and Rayquaza's massive amounts of speed amping moves like Dragon Dance and Extremespeed.

Rayquaza absorbs Sasuke's energy passively. Sasuke's energy absorption is paltry compared to it. Rayquaza could just wait out Sasuke tbqh. Amenoyadayadayada force swapping has only been done close range, nothing spanning kilometers. Not to mention it has Sasuke falling out of the sky unless he has Susanoo to fly.

Seeing its movements is nice and all but does it really matter if Rayquaza primarily beam spams? Nothing to really read.

Sealing iirc is Chibaku Tensei, the rock based move. Above the ozone layer is where the fight's being taken.
