I don't think so. BFR is Scorpion's best move actually, once he gets Sub-Zero to the Netherrealm, Subs is done. Sub-Zero's ice powers are already his best move, he should've turned Scorpion into brittle ice and shatter him right there, like the one time he shattered a frozen building with a punch.

Scorpion's fire moves counter Sub-Zero's Ice moves, so there's that.

But if Scorpion touches SZ while he covers himself in ice, he gets flash frozen then smashed into pieces. Otherwise, SZ gets BFR'd.

So it depends on who strikes first. And Scorpion's not dumb enough to fall for the same trick twice.

Actually, Sub-Zero never considered shattering his opponents, so that's going to be a surprise for Scorpion. Plus, Sub-Zero has better defense. Not saying Scorpion is dumb since he rebuilt his own clan and even spread quickly his ninja techniques to ordinary survivors to turn them into assassins. Same goes for Subs.

He's not gonna melt his way out when he's frostbitten. His flesh turns into brittle ice. Plus, this seems inconclusive since Sub-Zero can't really put this guy down.

'Kay, I vote Inconclusive. Sub-Zero really doesn't have anyway to kill Scorpion, and with this being Kuai Liang, Scorpion would simply have no enmity with him
