Yeah it doesn’t seem Scott has many good answers for Ken’s various combos and skill. Plus Scott is almost not confident at all in this key, even if he could think of something to catch Ken off guard he’d be more hesitant to do it. Ken also has chi-manip, status effect induction, extrasensory perception, etc.

Scott is whooping Sokka. The skill gap should be at least decent with Scott’s experience and martial arts plus he’s stronger physically and has a fire sword instead of a normal one. Scott’s mogging him.

I would say this isn't as onesided as one might think lol. Skill wise we have to remember Sokka was trained by Piandao, one of the greatest swordsmen in all of his verse who had decades of experience and having never lost a battle. Sokka's not gonna try and fight a fire sword mano e mano (His own sword is made from a meteor so maybe it can survive clashes?) and AP would be balanced out by both having piercing damage.

Yeah but we saw in the comics that experienced enough sword wielders like Zuko can still easily take Sokka down. Scott in the movie isn’t quite as experienced as his comic self iirc but he still was able to take on hordes of people and briefly Gideon who definitely had some mastery. Both can pierce but I think Scott has way more endurance with the beatings he takes, even if full on stabbing is kind of his weakness.
