Something about Pixel Gun 3D

There's a weapon called the Exterminator who's description says:
"This revolver is the true beauty. It uses the shine of stars as ammunition. Which is why each shot is tremendously powerful."
This weapon in particular is shown to do massive damage to unarmored players and deconstructs them like every other laser weapon.
In addition to that, there's another weapon called the Dead Star who says this:
"Each bullet of this gun contains a small portion of emission, produced by a star in the moment of its explosion. Rest assured, it will get the enemies staying close near the primary target."
Does this count for any upgrades or is it just flowery text?

Well, the important detail is how much of the star's energy it is using; an unspecified tiny portion of it doesn't really mean anything as far as AP is concerned.

I mean this seems like a infinitesimal amount of a supernovae emission.

I would say it just upscales from most guns.
