Yeah, this is actually a really fair match. Hair manipulation and 4th Wall Awareness are kinda equally worthless here, so it just comes down to skill and experience. And, if I'm not wrong, Sonic has both of those in spades. Sonic has my vote.

Lilac may be younger than Sonic, but she can counterattack his homings attacks with her Cyclone and regain momentup with her boost.

Since this is going to come down to hand-to-hand combat Sonic simply outfights her with his superior skill and experience as well as more varied techniques.

Using Boost Sonic can place what is akin to a protective aura around his body. This should block out Lilac's ice and let him ram her in the process.

What if both collide while using their boost?

Lilac won´t just bounce back, she can also still improve her durability with certain shields.

Her boost also is aura-enhanced, at least from the currents looks of FP2.

Sonic is probably gonna notice that she's his physical equal and avoid clashing with her recklessly (like he did with Neo Metal Sonic).

Lilac's Shield Crystals wear off in up to three blows, meaning Sonic could get rid of them with a string of Homing Attacks .

Lilac can still obtain invunerability for a few seconds, allowing her to ignore Sonic´s attacks and regain momentum.

Sonic could easily evade Lilac for up to how-ever-many seconds her Invincibility Shield is active. He's shown to be relatively good at tactical retreats and evading attacks on a dime.
