Spaghetti Boss meets Blind Teleporter

Diavolo's gonna need a lot of punches to kill Shimazaki. At the same time, Shimazaki can't touch Diavolo since he's bloodlusted, meaning he'll go for time skip right away. Is Shimazaki able to see King Crimson?

Well, he can easily sense energy in anything. Stands are basically manifestation of one's life force. And espers can see spirits with no problem.

Ryo can probably take Diavolo's attacks during time erasure, then teleport behind him and omae wa mo shindeiru him since he can one shot him. Unless time erasure is super spammable.

He can one shot Diavolo but not King Crimson (it's 1.01 ton vs 3.03 tons) and King Crimson is going to protect Diavolo

Time erasure is spammable indeed, but both have precog (Diavolo got better one though), would take a lot attacks from Diavolo to actually take Ryo down

IIRC Diavolo doesn't have durability-negating attacks and Ryo has High 8-C durability

Seems like a stomp

But well, there are cons and pros

Shimazaki's pros: Precog, sum higher AP and dura, teleportation

Shimazaki's cons: He's pretty cocky and when his moves are predicted he's pretty much hecked, as he is blind

Diavolo's pros: Better precog (can see future), time erasure and spam

Diavolo's cons: Lower AP

But there's no one shotting from anyone.

Yes, but Ryo can just teleport behind Diavolo or something and one shot Diavolo. He spams teleportation like that a lot, so I find it hard to belive that King Crimson will be able to protect Diavolo even over 50% of the time without time erasure.

Ryo would have to attack in between the openings of time between time erasures then but again, his spam of teleportation really helps him here.

Diavolo can't attack during time erasure, and time erasure has no cooldown so Diavolo will spam it as he already does it in-character and here he's bloodlusted.

Shimazaki isn't hitting him because Diavolo's precog is way better as well.

Since Ryo's precog is just analytical prediction, how would that interact with Diavolo erasing time? The description of "Can read the movements of his opponents to predict their next move" seems insufficient to keep up with Diavolo repeatedly erasing time. This seems especially important considering Ryo is listed as having the weakness "Fares poorly against attacks that have greater unpredictability" and suddenly being ten seconds in the future with no recollection of how you got there while your opponent has seemingly teleported behind you having no sold your attacks is rather unpredictable.

Teleportation seems like Ryo's best shot at hitting Diavolo, but Diavolo can precog that and erase to avoid it, and through being able to precog what happens after his time erase ends he becomes even less likely to be caught by an attack after teleportation.

Diavolo seems to take this. Bloodlust ensures Diavolo is going to precog-erase everything Ryo does, essentially rendering the AP gap useless. Teleportation will make it hard for Diavolo to actually land any hits too, but again, Ryo is listed as having trouble with unpredictable movements which Diavolo excels at, making it easier for Diavolo to land the greater number of hits he needs to win. The only real disadvantage Diavolo seems to have is his preference for attacking from his opponents back after a time erase, which could become predictable, however, due to Diavolo being bloodlusted he will always use epitaph before time erase ends, as he did against GER, which would allow him to see his attack getting predicted which would allow him to attack in a different way.

Why do people think Diavolo can attack in Time Erase? He can't, he just positions himself to then attack after Time Erase. Also, nobody knows what's happening during Time Erase, they just keep doing what they were going to do.

Yeah it's gonna take a lot of punches but Diavolo will eventually win. Shimazaki just flat out can't hit him in any way. I'm voting Diavolo.

There's basically no way either one of these guys are hitting the other. Ryo was only hit when several people were attacking him at once (And by someone who he couldn't detect at all) while Diavolo was only hit by Silver Chariot, who is more or less the second fastest stand in the series.

That means it comes back to a stamina match. Ryo probably has better stamina in my opinion, though. He can fight for an entire day before getting tired, while Diavolo's stamina feat was esensially holding his breath for twenty minates while critically injured, and at the end of that he was almost dead.

In my eyes Diavolo's feat is better because it isn't just holding his breath for about 20 minutes, it was having all the iron forcibly removed from his blood, meaning his feat was closer to being suffocated , yet still being able to move somewhat and somehow not suffering brain damage or any affects to his ability to think from being oxygen deprived for a considerable amount of time. And this is on top of receiving other physical injuries.

Yes he did almost die, but the point is that any normal human would have died within minutes of all the oxygen in their blood being removed, completely ignoring the other injuries he received.

I don't know much about Ryo, but the ability to fight all day without tiring only really becomes relevant if he did so against an opponent or opponents who could put up a good fight and how injured he was at the end of the fight.

He got trashed by them for some time but later trashed them himself, like they smashed walls with him etc.

So he has pretty good stamina. I still think Diavolo has the better feat, but it is quite close.

Stamina isn't why Diavolo wins though. Ryo's weakness against hard to predict opponents is why Diavolo wins. This weakness means that while Ryo is rarely getting hit due to teleportation, Diavolo should land hits sometimes, eventually hitting Ryo enough to win, whereas Diavolo is never getting hit via spamming precog-erase even more than he does in character due bloodlust.

I still vote for Diavolo, albeit with some difficulty.

The fact that he will spam it does not mean there are zero openings for Ryo to attack tbh, just due to the fact that it runs out and then he has to activate it again and again and that to attack he has to not be in time erasure. So that thing of 0% chance of Ryo landing a hit is not really accurate.

Also, mind's eye Ryo really should not be that vunerable to having the opponent appear behind him or something as it is being implied here.

I'll vote for Ryo simply because Diabolo will need to land a ton of hits which will be difficult to even land and Ryo only meeds to hit Diavolo once to GG. A difficult to land hit to GG > Tons of not exactly easy to land hits to GG.

He could also preassure point king crimson unless stands have something that prevents that ig.

Ryo doesn't start with Mind's Eye in character though. He will just think that Diavolo is also a teleporter (from perspective of other people than Diavolo himself, he sure is teleporting)

Idk if you can pressure point a Stand, they are non-corporeal beings, like ghosts. But you can sure damage a Stand.

The problem is a bloodlusted Diavolo would always use his precog to see what happens after time erase ends, which means he won't be hit by any attacks between erases.

Diavolo appearing behind Ryo isn't the main point though. Ryo will find himself in the future, with no recollection of how he got there, perhaps in the middle of an attack, or having used an attack that would have killed Diavolo if he didn't erase it, meaning from Ryo's perspective Diavolo should have already been killed, and on top of this Diavolo will be teleporting around.

Pressure pointing a stand might work? It is really hard to tell.

I mean, if the fight is extended as it most likely gonna be Ryo will eventually pull mind's eye. Specially since he'd have a lot of trouble landing a hit and Diabolo would be putting the preassure on him, since when he activated his Mind's eye it was because Teruki's group was preassuring him a lot with him being unable to counter attack properly.

I also don't think Ryo is stupid enough to go trough the fight thinking Diavolo is also a teleporter when Ryo himself appears in a totally different position doing something quite different along with a memory gap. Even then that does not change that Mind's eye would just detect Diavolo's position and movements right after time erasure ends and Ryo only needs a thought to evade via teleportation.

Yeah, but Ryo can interact with non corporeals so what really stops them from working?
