Okay so simple as that, sparda heritages mid godly regen don't fit the definition at all

Sure what happened to nero was om physical spiritual and mental level but issue is "The ability to regenerate from the COMPLETE ERASURE of one's body, mind, and soul."

While yes Nero was Pretty injured he wasn't erased, even the scans used for that say so and melted togheter also isn't erasure

I recomand sparda heritages regen to be downgrade to i think low godly via scaling to mid tier demons unleas someone finds a better argument

I should have been the one who made the justification smh( I couldn t at the time since I didn’t know how to edit pages back then), the justification was Nero regenerating after he was absorbed on mental, physical and spiritual level to become one with the savior and he later reinforced it by saying that he had lost his body from that absorption(the novel uses melting to refer to absorption cause obviously that happens when someone or something is being absorbed), which implies that the same thing had happened to his memories and spirit, ill get the scans later but the justification should have been this, not the one in the page.( got the scans linked to the words)

Wasn't the Mid-Godly due to Nero recovering from his mind, body and soul being absorbed? I'm pretty sure it's fine, since his aspects were destroyed.

I'll wait for the scans before I cast judgement.

The scans are there, it is just that the melting part wasn’t explained further which I’m gonna redo the justification for the entire thing, since by melting it is referring to him being absorbed, after that was done Nero says that he had lost his body (gone nothing remained) after he came Back which the same will logically happen to the other aspects as well.

Agreed. This was very firmly implied in this case.

I don't agree with this thread.

Yeah, and the Savior is explicitly stated to be made of the melted spiritual matter of it's victims. Even if you reason it wasn't full erasure, it would still be Mid Godly, just on a limited level. (And this isn't the only Godly Regen feat, as Vergil had his Concept re-molded into another being by Mundus via his Name, {which also affected his Mind, as Mundus explicitly stated he was trying to mind-rape in the Manga Vergil and even then he couldn't actually finish doing all of this to Vergil, as he was resisting it, and only could do so until he gave him his half of the Perfect Amulet}, had his soul ripped and put into another body, and then had ALL of that completely erased by Dante, (who canonically negates the Regen of Demons.)

Vergil then returned, like two decades later, as himself (as in he regenerated into Vergil, not Nelo Angelo), with his OWN body, and his Mind restored, and likely his Soul since the Yamato literally had to split his Soul in two for the plot of DMC5 to happen. This means he somehow regenerated his Concept (Name), Soul, and Body (and recovered his mind, likely also through regen). Though given Vergil survived at all could imply Dante's negation isn't on this level (though I'd doubt it as other God Tiers like Void Mundus, Argosax, and Chen-Who literally has his and Vergil's Sparda Hybrid Physiology whilst simulatanously amped by the Beastheads, were all permanently killed by Dante), it's not combat applicable because it took literally 20 years to come back from said kill-shot, annnnnd even though he DID come back he WAS on Death's Door and had to steal the Yamato and split himself into his halves to survive. Regardless, Spardakin heal from a lot.

This new justification should be fine from what i am Reading If novel says bro regenerated from nothing

But what if "Losing the body" just refers to him getting absorbed, meaning that his body, spirit and memories didn't belong to him anymore, but The Savior?

Same conclusion, it will mean his mind ,body and soul are not his anymore and had to regenerate new ones from nothing.

Since the justifications were already accepted in another thread and just clarified here, I'll close this.

@SYPHe5D You can adjust the justification to fit better.
