speed question

what would be the speed of a character who arrived at a location in 59 minutes when other people would take 3 days to do so? is there any way to calculate this?

What was the distance covered? did the character that covered the distance in 3 days take some rest and sleep through the travel? By that statement alone there's no way to known the speed.

Yeah, that makes the character 73x faster than the other people, assuming no rest.

Even assuming rest, you could cut the total to something like a day and they would still be 24x

But that's assuming a little too much, would help if we had more info

there is no statement of the exact distance, it is only said that he traveled to another city in less than 1 hour, when other people would take 3 days for that, and he had no rest, he was in a hurry

"While thinking about what to get for Elsa, Yu opened a little gap in his seal then ran wildly in the forest. This time, Yu’s destination was the city north of the forest. Although Yu could buy some gadgets in the small town near the school, Yu didn’t think this is appropriate. After all, it was the first time to give something to a girl. Yu hopes to buy something expensive and meaningful, not to mention he was not short of money now.
While thinking about this, Yu already came to the front of this big city. Originally it would take three days to get here buy a carriage, but it only took Yu less than an hour with a slight limiter release."

what would be the exact speed of this?

One also needs to consider the terrain: travellers would avoid dangerous terrains, considerably increasing the time of the trip (rocky mountains, thick forests, etc.); if someone can somehow ignore the terrain hazards (like flying in an straight line, or having enhanced levels of mobility) then it can short the distance, and thus the time.

Probably requires too many assumptions to get a concrete speed rating.

Assuming variables like rest periods or terrain weren’t a factor then that’d make our traveler 73x faster. Assuming the “other people” are just average joes (Average Human speed = 7.7 m/s) then the traveler that reached the location in 59 minutes would be 562.1 m/s or Mach 1.63 - Supersonic

We try to find reasonable estimates for how much distance a horse carriage travels per day, and then multiply by three to find the distance to the city.
