Speed Question

Sooo I checked out the "speed feat" for Groudon and the feat itself has nothing to do with Groudon's speed, just how long some beam of energy took to get to the artificial sun. So what's goin on there?

IIRC, the beam was merely the leftover energy Primal Groudon released, and that's what destroyed the sun. It should at the very least be comparable to the speed of Groudon's regular attacks, considering those are actually used for offense.

I'm pretty sure that's the thought process.

I believe either Groudon or Kyogre dodged/reacted to the beam in question, or one of equal strength. Although the pictures are gone from the calc so I can't say for sure.

Yea I figured too, but the beam itself was residual energy, Groudon wasn't even there nor did he fire it. Idk, it just seems off....

Wouldn't we classify it as "MHS+ attack speed"? Or can the Pokemon be able to percieve at those speeds? @Azathoth

Considering Groudon fights Kyogre, who is its equal and is able to react to its attacks, I don't see why it wouldn't scale to reactions, as well.

They didn't dodge it or even interact with it though. The left over energy was released in the form of a beam and was fired. i just can't see how that relates to their speed at all
