This was attempted once before back when Something was 8-C, but that was a stomp. But, hey, Something is 8-B.

So, in order to have a fair spider match, Amazing Spider-Man from Shattered Dimensions will hopefully not get stomped from the Afraid emotion.

Notes:

• Speed is Equal
• Something In The Walls is the Something form being used (which I’m pretty sure is fine as Something only battles you in one form at a time whenever you fight them in Lost Library)
• Speaking of Lost Library, the battle takes place in a random public library that’s next to Central Park, New York.
• The starting distance is 5 meters
• Spider-Man is about 42% stronger than Something (111.68 vs 78.6187)
• If there’s anything that I didn’t list, then assume SBA (though, I think I remembered every important detail)

Something seems to upscale alot from his value when the difference was already 1.4x. So they should be relative in AP. Although how will something get pass spidey boi's precognition and senses, cuz if he doesnt. He's not hitting him i believe.

Could Something’s fear manip help against it? On it’s profile, it says “The FEAR status prevents those effected by it from using anything but basic attacks unless they have an ability that can calm them down.” and I do not know if it would apply to any precog/sense stuff. It would probably apply to most other Spider-Man things like his webs and most of his “Notable Attacks” on his profile, but maybe not the Spider Senses.

I mean if that's all it does..... Spiderman should still be able to fight back. It limits his best stuff albeit he still can punch and kick which would still give him acess to his spider senses and precognition. He can avoid the hits and fight back albeit his moveset will be limited such as things like his timestop, web abilities etc. He should be fine.

Something doesn’t really spam perception manip. Plus, it’s mostly used to set up fights (ie, Elongating a staircase or turning a normal spider into Something In The Walls) than to be used in fights.

I see. That could temporaily mess with spider boi's senses but since he doesnt use that consistently...... what else can he put forth? I also just realized spiderman cant kill him, albeit incacipation still exist

Honestly, there isn’t much more that Something could do other than maybe lowering Spidey’s speed with webs. Something just has the advantage of being hard to take down since, as a boss in a video game, it can contend with a large party size of relatively equal strength (though, that’s chalked up to game mechanics more than anything). Oh, and Immortality Type 8, but I don’t think it really matters too much since Something still gets defeated (relatively) normally.
