Sweet Tooth fights a Donut Lord

I'm pretty sure that Tom will use his sleep darts once Sweet Tooth comes to him with his sword, and since Sweet Tooth doesn't resist that, I'm voting Dount Lord

Good grief, I figured someone would use "dart gun gg" argument.
Firstly, Sweet Tooth is no stranger against fighting off opponents like him and he's certainly not dumb. He was capable of killing off 3 armed police officers within a minute while just getting out of the electric chair after enduring it. Doing so, he was able to put back his mask on. Another showing is him slaughtering people in a hospital building, and one of the scenes showed him fighting off against police officers effortlessly. Let's not forget when he threw his machete across the hallway to kill bystanders and a name plaque hard enough to embed it in a man's skull.
Then there was the time where he killed Calypso in TM Black, who is known to carry a gun (which btw he even managed to kill an FBI agent). The other time is when he threw Calypso off a building pretty easily. He also can see bullets in slow motion and dodge it. So no, a dart gun isn't going to do jack to the clown.

Speed is equalized, so he ain't dodging that dart

That dart doesn't even travel at the speed of a normal bullet, and Sweet Tooth compares to someone who can dodge tank shells while driving a car.
If anything, speed being equalized just makes dodging it even easier for him.

Yeah, Tooth has no tech here. Unless you count Playstation All Stars (you shouldn't), his only weapon he's ever used on foot is his machete. I mean he should have a revolver and a shotgun as of TM2012, but he never used those in cutscenes for some reason.
Regardless though, Wachowski's only option is to try and hit him with the dart before he gets close, and he has...what, one shot at a time? If Needles throws his machete, it's almost assuredly going to catch him by surprise, and if it comes to melee, Tom is a ******* goner. One of them is basically just a low-rent cop and the other one kills cops for Tuesday entertainment. I know which one I'm backing in a fight.

Well like I said, the most recent version of the character should have them. He just...doesn't bother shooting anyone in the face with them for some reason or another. Not that we see, anyway.
Then again, the TMB version of the character is seen hanging out of the window of his truck with an AR-15 in his hand in the character select screen, so who knows if he actually uses guns off-camera or not.

I'd be fine if it were listed as optional equipment (?) Despite him actually having them, but just not using them. Or simply say it's not in character to use them? I'm not even sure anymore.

I never know which one to go with. I mean, characters seem to use handheld guns everywhere except for cutscenes in the TM universe. I know for a fact that over half the playable characters in TMB had one in their hands in the character select, and I'm pretty sure they've even used them in intros before.
TM2012 was especially egregious with that crap. Sidearms were a blatant and necessary mechanic in the game, and yet none of the named characters ever used a firearm on anyone in the cutscenes...

If you're right, then Sweet Tooth might actually skill stomp given that their range is limited and Sweet Tooth can easily negate Tom's only wincon. Maybe if the rings weren't restricted + bloodlusting will make itmore fair

@King Best not to overthink it, I guess. It's just a bit difficult to even fathom why they don't even use it if they have it, especially if it's something you can use in the latest game (which i think was meant to be implemented back in TMB but just went unused).

Bloodlusted Tom would use the rings first, so as long as he's far enough from Sweet Tooth, he should be able to BFR him
