Actually decaying will work. Because the moment Shiggy decides to just touch the ground, the entire country is going to start to fall apart one by one. Including her.
Now, I'm no expert, but pretty sure Makima being turned into literal dust the moment that the Decay reaches her is gonna f*** her up for good, with no good way for her to come back from that one.

She likely just can't given Shigaraki's overwhelming presence that puts the fear of God into anyone that he approaches, making them envision their own demise just from him being around them. While Makima does indeed resist effects like this, it also would tell her that Shigaraki is not inferior to her, and he might not even need this given she hadn't shown the ability to control Quanxi UNTIL she decapitated Quanxi and killed her to revive her later as part of the Special Division.

And Shigaraki also has resistance to Mind Hax like All for Ones, and his own supernatural willpower that can break out of manipulations like that.

Makima's ONLY win con here is her damage transfer ability, but that likely also won't work because Shigaraki shows no reaction to his own quirk, and even if he did that would be a 1 in 126.1 MILLION chance (assuming the population is the same as Japan in 1997) in her being able to do that given she likely is going to be immediately grabbed by Tomura and has a singular shot at doing that, and Tomura might not even be a citizen of Japan anymore to be affected if it's been long enough

Makima cannot hurt Tomura, cannot control Tomura, none of her go to Hax abilities work on Tomura, and he needs a singular tap to win the battle, this is either a LANDSLIDE Victory for Tomura or this is a stomp

Also if this even happens, she’s screwed

Slow down people, Makima has win cons like Transmutation with the Doll and Stone Devil, BFR, Halloween, Death Manipulation...

It's a probability of what's more likely

Makima uses contracts which she has not shown to have access to before and is only listed as 'probably' on her profile, two of which (doll and stone) have a chance of not working against Tomura through some means

OR

Tomura touches the ground

Shiggy totally doesn't touch the ground with one finger and deletes half the city + her.
 
Are we forgetting that speed is equal and the distance is 4km, Makima and her goons will have all the time in the world to relocate and plan while Shigaraki and his decay wave makes his way to her, if she's worried about her goons dying she can just teleport them away using Angel Halo for safe keeping as she consistently did against Pochita . The Hell Devils hand when it send people to Hell is intangible as it was able to phase through the department store and Pochita, so Shigaraki will have no way to defend against it aside from dodging which would be pretty hard considering it's the size of a building, the Doll devil's dolls can hax Shigaraki with a single touch if he decides to swat them away with his growth and she can teleport them on top of him as she did the Snake and Punishment Devil against the Gun Devil to avoid the decay wave. And if Shigaraki were to even hear a single Halloween, it's pretty much GG for him. There're probably more but that's for Gunshy to discuss when he arrives so at least wait until that
 
The combat speed of that faster character is assumed to be equalized to the combat speed of the slower character. Every other speed the faster character has is reduced by the same multiplier. This includes the speed of any attacks, projectiles, reactions, perception, flight, etc.

you do realize listing so many of makimas stuff is bad right

we actually know what shigarakis starting move is while you're just adding more variability to makima which is not good

we need to know what makima actually starts with here

with shigaraki we actually know he starts with decay with is pretty much instant and a massive AOE which would end makima on the spot

saying makima can choose between transmutation, BFR halloween or whatever without a clear first move makes the case for makima uncertain and delayed. if makima has too many options and no clear opening move that is terrible against someone who has an insta kill starting move

That's fast when talking about our perspective but with speed equal, in relativity to Makima's POV it would take Shigaraki and any of his attacks around 20 minutes to actually reach her (unless im messing sth up here)

Im not the debate guy when it comes to CSM, that's @GunshyFever. So im just saying to at least wait for him to voice his opinion as so far there has been a lack of arguments from the CSM side
