Not quite sure how to make a battle, I have no idea what things like speed equalized or other terminology like that. So uhh, you people that are actually competent at this, feel free to decide if this is even a fight.

Thanos (MCU) VS Vilgax (UAF)

I'd recommend looking at this page. The tiering system is pretty important when it comes to making matches.
Vilgax is a LOT faster than Thanos here, so speed would need to be equalized. If you want to know more about our speed rankings, click here.
Speed is equalized is basically 'disregard speed' (with a couple of exceptions, but dont worry rn). If a character who can run 20mph is put up against someone who can run 10mph and has a 100mph gun, both people AND the gun would be treated as having 'X' speed.
As for the match itself, Thanos has quite the range advantage, and he'd likely lead with a beam. Seeing it doesn't hurt Vilgax, he'd know to use an ability like reality warping to put down Vilgax before Vilgax can get in range to shoot him once (cause Vilgax's AP is far above Thanos' durability).

Thank you very much! Now that I understand, I'd have to go with Thanos unless Vilgax is some kind of Dagon form.

Which versions are being used? High 5-A is the only key they share but Vilgax has three High 5-A keys while Thanos has two. Also specify the stones Thanos has if it is the incomplete gauntlet.

Vilgax oneshots with his eyebeams. While Thanos has roughly a x5 AP advantage with the Power Stone, he himself is only somewhere above 392 teratons and the beams will dodge around the shield he can throw up.

Vilgax has the AP advantage by far, the only hope Thanos has is if the snap kills vilgax
