I am hundred percent sure shadow has chaos control which is an automatic win for him, since he tends to use that a lot

Typically to just teleport himself or stop time, he rarely (if ever) opens with BFR

This time Elfilis is the one with the stat advantage. If not for Shadow's rings, he would get time stopped by Shadow, survive the following assault, and then one shot him.

Since Shadow does have rings though, he's either gonna have to mind hax him before Shadow pulls out any insta-win hax, or just hit him twice before any rings can be picked back up. Considering the potency of Elfilis' mind hax, I think his win cons are more reliable.

Shadow's win cons might not even be as instant as I made them out to be due to his regen. Even if Shadow uses indigo asteroid to destroy Elfilis' main body, his phase two could just erupt from its back and continue the fight.

In Prime, Sonic drops 4 after getting hit by Shadow, his physical equal. A hit from Fecto would definitely drop all of Shadow's rings
And I would argue Sonic probably wasn’t trying his hardest there, further giving evidence to a harder hit making him drop all rings. However, 5 rings does mean more chances to pick them up after

How hard he was trying doesn't affect his durabillity. I've voting for Elfilis

I know that doesn’t affect his durability, but it affects how hard Sonic was hitting. A stronger hit from Sonic would probably knock more rings

Shadow was the one hitting. Sonic was the one taking the hit that dropped his 4 rings

Wait, is Prime canon to the games? I've kinda noticed that they've been trying to tie more things to the main canon such as the IDW comics, but I haven't heard much on if its the case for Prime.

Yes. It has no reason to be canon, since it brings nothing interesting to the game universe but even more inconcistancies, but it's officially canon.
