The Brick Fortress Tournament (2025) - 9-B Likely 9-A

Does 10 minute prep allow the character to see/observe/know more about their opponents or something?
It depends on the context and the rules of match. Generally, 10 minutes of prep time is very limited, but... it could still be useful depending on the character's abilities and resources.
If the character has access to data (like a computer or an information manipulation), they might be able to get quick info on the opponent. If they have potions, quick buffs, or fast-assembling gear, they could make last-minute upgrades. So yeah they can observe "more" if they have powers/abilities in their profiles to observe and depends on how good they are in their "respective verses" when it comes to making the best out of in such time frame.

Wait so they'll be preparing in the battlefield rather than anywhere else?

Yeah, because that's where the fight takes place, before the match start they'll get 10 minutes of prep time so
they'll just get more time to know about the location, it's surroundings etc.

I gotta be honest here
@Arkansalter2 lemme tell you people something. This guy is cool. Arkansalter2 got charisma, personality and he's got that "it factor" that you normally don't really see.
From the little bit I've seen of him and trust me I've been on this website for 8 years now you people might've seen my tournaments. Arkansalter2 he's just always up front and honest! and he just got "IT" if you know what I mean. That's exactly 💯 is what makes a good debater. I'm gonna be honest, he's earned my respect.

Thank you. I've only been on this website since like late July of 2024 and I know my way around the website and can debate relatively easily and simply. I'm not perfect, no one is. But I do appreciate your respect towards me. I try my best to be the best I can be.

While the Shyura vs Tanya matchup is at a stall for votes (even though the winner is pretty obvious now) I think Tanya vs Lynus Yu-jin is probably a stomp. Best argument for him winning is a similar argument as her vs Shyura, except he gets one shot, can't fly at all, and only has one sword. Not to mention the prep time could let Tanya just prep a Speed of Light attack he can't respond to.

I think It was answered in a old thread regarding speed amps

First speed looks like travel/flight speed only tho, while the second one looks to be attack/combat speed.
Nah. If a speed stat has no description on which kind of speed it is, that's the combat speed.
It's subsonic combat speed with certain SoL attack projectiles.

The subsonic speed's explanation is weirdly about being able to fly 463 km/h, which should be meaning that it would be flight speed, no? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the description had it like that.

It is the speed with which she flies and also the speed at which she does combat. It's both, in which case the combat speed is the relevant part. Whenever flight, travel or reaction speed is the same as combat speed, the rating isn't separately noted down, as combat speed already implies such rating.

If he doesn't reply anytime soon, there are some submissions here that weren't added due to the submissions becoming full. Mayhaps they can be sufficient replacements?

Btw if Adam vs Predator drops, I'm prob not gonna be there till an hour or so since I'm busy at the moment.
