The Knight (Hollow Knight) Speed Upgrade

On The Knight's page it says their speed is below average because they're a bug. Well, in the Crystal Peak, there are two enemies who can fire lasers, the Crystal Guardian/Enraged Guardian and the Crystal Crawlers. They do so with their crystals, as shown here, here, and here for the Crystal/Enraged Guardian (in fact it's attack is called Laser Beam) and here for the Crystal Crawlers. And the Crystal Crawlers can, and I quote: "discharge searing beams of light from it's crystals" in the Hunter's Journal entry.

But no one can react to those beams. They have a thin phase that can't hurt you, and the "thick" phase that hurts you, and the beam itself is instant. You can only "dodge" by walking away from it before it thickens.
