The Official Calculation Requests Thread - 6

I was reading Inuyashiki and there is an Asteroid relevant in the storyline that is supposed to drive the Earth into extinction.

It states that the asteroid is over 30 miles across, roughly the size of Rhode Island, and it also mentions that it is roughly five times larger than the asteroid that struck the Yucatan Peninsula around 75 million years ago. Can someone calculate both of these asteroids potency for me?

I'll probably make a page soon all the feats, plus we need to add fore Red Storm characters that page is blank despite having a lot a feats to work with.

I see you like Baki that's one of my favorites
Yeah, the verse has a vast array of feats. I'll translate and post my friend's calc here tomorrow, I think.

Yujiro stops an earthquake with a punch, shakes an entire building, if not the entire city by standing and easily causes another, apparently smaller earthquake by willing it.
  • Importance/Priority: Tier 2, this scales to all the top tiers of Baki the Grappler. (Namely, Baki, Yujiro and Miyamoto)
  • Feat: Three different instances of Yujiro shaking the ground, two about him causing an earthquake out of sheer power, one about him stopping a true earthquake with a punch.
Here's wikipedia's page about Richter magnitude scale, and here about the energy that each earthquake would wield.
Stopping an earthquake would require overpowering its kinetic energy, and considering the fact that the Earthquake was knocking people out of their balances, it's safe to say that it was a 3.0-3.5, making the first feat Large Building level.

Very consistent with the second feat.

Gonna repost my more important old request in the new format

Importance/Priority: 1, this scales to almost every profile in the verse

Verse/Character Name: Fire Emblem, performed by a nameless fodder

Feat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vGdOz_M4f4

Feat starts at 5:31

You can see the rubble at 7:01, just in case that helps

at 8:04, you can see that it was at least felt from over there, which you can see the location and rough distance at 11:49

@Kep

But wouldn't the first case be Town to Town+ level since we'd need to use Total Seismic Energy?

After all, Yujiro stopped a true earthquake with a punch. He didn't cause one.

Hmm...yeah, you could argue that. I was just going by Radiated Waves because it seemed more consistent with the other two feats.

That's not what happened in the feat he's highlighting.

Earthquakes start knocking people out of their balances at 3.0-3.5, which is what happened.

Please stop quoting each other back and forth. It clutters the thread, and turns it harder to read.

"It crashed down between the orruks and Zephacleas, shaking the ground. The wide head undulated forwards, and the maw-krusha bellowed in challenge. Zephacleas crossed his weapons before his face and endured the wave of noise, though it shook him to his marrow. A maw-krusha's roar could easily flatten a wall or pulverise flesh and bone. The massive orruk sitting astride the monster's neck slammed the haft of one of his two axes against the maw-krusha's skull." (Sorry, could only find text)

Priority: Not sure. Most likely 2, scaling to some mid, and all the high and top-tiers.

Verse: Warhammer Fantasy. Who did it was a random maw-krusha.

Brief Descriptio: His screams can pulverize people.

Assuming a 75kg, healthy human.

75kg = roughly 74,844 grams of mass

74,844 would also be the volume of this person in cc.

74,844 cc * 214,35 joules is ~16 megajoules.

Which is Small Building level.

Importance: 3? It only scales to one character and the verse currently only has one profile

Verse/Character: Diesel, feat performed by Azizi's Stand, "Black Templar"

Feat: Black Templar boils the blood Stand

Diesel ac7d2e 5840368

When did we have an importance meter

We added it to simplify the request of calcs. I believe UMR has a blog for this, but in general 1: Scales to most/all the verse 2: Scales to good few characters 3: Scales to a small number of characters 4: Supportive ratings generally or scales to just one character.

It is already in the OP. It was put there after the calc group members agreed on it. This has been in the works for a week or two, starting as a concern from myself and further being fleshed out by UMR. I think it was highlighted at some point.

Sorry if it is an unconvince, but we have to know what is the most important task at hand.

Priority: Probably Tier 1, as this scales to almost every major character in the M:tG verse who isn't a cosmic entity or absurdly strong god tier. Said characters are currently kind of all over the place.

Verse: Magic: The Gathering

Feat: Jace Beleren turns most of Halimar Sea into mist, leaving behind only a few lesser waves. He does this after Kiora lifts the entirety of the sea into the air with her power and hurls its towards Nissa. As a note, since the sea has not stated exact size, we've decided it best to use the Caspian Sea for this, as it is the most similar real world analogue.

"She reared back, and the water reared back with her.

And with one bodily motion, she hurled the entire sea at Nissa.

Nissa's eyes widened.

—But the sea split in two, and each half split in two, and each resulting half split and split again, and the mass of water dissolved and dispersed into mist. Water roared down, sweeping away Eldrazi creatures. Sea life splashed down, flapping.

The mind mage stood between Kiora and Nissa, his eyes glowing with power under his hood, his extended hand edged with crackling blue magic.

Kiora did nothing for one stunned second. Then she bellowed, not words but inarticulate sounds of rage.
"

I think that the above post would be a priority 1 request, as it affects the currently unknown strength levels for most Dragon Ball character profiles.

I know I asked this around months a go but Could somebody calculate This feat from Gintama? I think it would be priority 2 Since it should scale to only top tiers. Basically hijikata stabsa Bullet mid flight with it not/Bearly moving

NOTE: as seen on this page The dude is using a revolver and Hijikata is 177 Cm.

In the original Half-Life game, Gordon can call in airstrikes at a certain point, even being able to direct them at himself and survive! These airstrikes blow up lots of walls and other structures. My request is simple: a calculation of the damage this airstrike can do, preferably taking violent fragmentation of concrete into account.
I could calc that

What is the reaction speed of someone dodging thousands of lightspeed attack by hair length?

this scales to two characters and I'm going to use these for profiles of characters I'm planning to make

@Sandman

Depends on the angle, the actual distance, and several other things.

A scan would do best to help someone to calc that.

@EliminatorVenom

There's no scan since its from a LN

here's the scene

From the eastern sky came solar radiance that was not being used like a cannon blast as before. A white sphere of light appeared in the sky hovering above the plains of Senjougahara. With two suns in the sky shining upon the land, Godou made all the [Swords] fly and gather towards the second white sun. Thousands of swords of light melded together with the luminous stellar mass. 'Oh, is that a new sun!?' Circling high in the air above, preparing for another attack, the Great Sage yelled. Godou fired the new swords and the white-colored sun shot a beam of bright light like a laser. The delicate swords of light were able to lock on to the godly fast Handsome Monkey King, and whizzed past over his head. "Such heat!? And to think it even moved faster than me!? Impossible!" Only a few strands of fur were singed, but contact was definitely made. Melding the embodiment of the sun, the [White Stallion], with the [Sword], the result was this beam of light — a light speed weapon. This move did not lose to the Great Sage Equaling Heaven's god speed, perhaps it even offered a chance for victory!?

The white-colored sun released thousands of [Swords]. It not only shot at the four cardinal directions but in all three hundred and sixty degrees at light speed.

The [Sword] passed through trees, traversed mountains, crossed rivers and plains, and returned to town once again. The white flash penetrated all walls and obstacles in its path, slicing apart all the monkeys who were the Great Sage's underlings

The sacred flashing light raced across the lands beneath the morning glow.

This swiftness was only possible due to the light speed weapon.

Creating formless blades for severing a god, these laser beams streaked across empty space at the speed of light.

The continuous attacks of complicated flashing lights displayed fierce momentum. However, it was far too unbelievable how all these attacks continued to miss Hikari's body by the frighteningly slimmest of margins. Standing on the golden cloud, flying and gliding in the air, the Great Sage used all sorts of techniques to evade Kusanagi Godou's attacks. Sometimes he did tricks in the air similar to stunt flying, while at other times he flew with all his strength, charging at maximum speed. To be able to dodge light speed attacks, it truly was god speed. In terms of pure speed, the swords of light should be faster actually

so the attacks came from all directions and also locks on target
