Town Level Infamous 1 Cole

I know that PTSOXMONKEY99 already made this arguement for Cole being Town Level in Infamous 1, however, I have another way to know this.

In the beginning of Infamous, right after Cole got his powers, Cole makes his way to the Freemont Bridge to find Zeke and Trish.

After he gets there, he feels an incredible surge of energy and lightning bolts start raining from the sky. In this instance, Cole actually creates a thunderstorm. He doesn't drain the energy from one, he CREATES one. And what's more, is that he didn't even need to focus on it.

This storm created by Cole is also so potent, that he ACCIDENTALLY destroys the entire bridge.

This should also scale to Kessler and even Alden and Sasha since it is at the very start of the game.

This could work, but it would probably only end up being Small Town level+, and it would only work for end game Cole. The justification for this is because it was stated in dead drops in game that it would take 3 weeks for a Conduit to gain full control of their powers. This first showing was just Cole's awakened powers going haywire and then dieing down. It wasn't until near the end of the game that Cole displayed this level of control over his powers. Probably only Kessler and David would get this, since Kessler doesn't even consider Sasha and Alden a threat.

And the justification for Small Town level+ is based on a calc that put in thunderstorm makers at this level, here and here

Although, I don't really understand the justification for the thunderstorm downgrades since they based them on the area covered in those specific instances, whereas the storm in inFAMOUS 2 covered an entire portion of a city, most likely the whole city based on what we saw in game. Also, the wiki originally used this for estimating the AP of a thunderstorm. But, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I see. By the way, I was thinking a simple upgrade for Lifting Strength would be in order. The reason for this is because Cole was able to lift Alden's Tower off of himself off himself after it crushed him. The whole thing was made of two-axle buses, shipping containers, cranes, ruined buildings, etc. This should at least warrant Class K Strength for Cole even if he lifted a small part of it. Alden should also have this strength for his telekinesis, unless this wiki seriously believes that THIS WHOLE THING IS FIVE TONS.


Kessler should also scale to this since he easily overpowered him in the beginning of their fight at full stamina.

The Beast should also warrant Class M strength based on sheer size alone.

The weird thing about Alden's Tower collapsing on Cole is that we don't know which part of how much actually fell on him. We only see a few steel beams fall, and that's really it. And it's obvious that the whole thing didn't fall, since when you come back later the thing is still standing. It's most likely that that top part fell, and that's my best guess.

And it was stated that it took Alden several days/weeks to build the thing, so we can't really quantify the feat.

Though, I think Alden certainly deserves a higher lifting strength, since he built his iron golem, which was made out of a bridge.

I was also thinking that until the island and pocket dimension things are calculated and sorted out, that Second Son could be bumped up to 8-A to 7-C. After all, the Conduits in inFAMOUS SS had their powers for seven years and Augustine herself got her powers from one of The Beast's Ray Field Blasts.

Could they also receive a speed upgrade for dodging Delsin and Fetch's Neon lasers the same why Cole did from dodging Kessler's lightning?

Because he was able to heavily injure The Beast with it before his powers were weakened. Who proceeded to casually destroy the entire city with a single Blast.

It happened right after the comics. And I think it was like some kind of state of permanent Karmic Overload. In fact, he probably had it in the comics since we never once see him recharge off something in the books.

That comic book occurred at least a few days after the Kessler boss fight. The second game starts several days, possibly weeks after the comic.

It doesn't make sense for Cole to be City level in inFAMOUS 1, since even he was amazed by the Beast's power. And he was, at the end of their first fight, utterly defeated by John. Cole himself said he threw everything he had at the Beast, and it still wasn't enough.

I figured inFAMOUS 1 Stats were collective from the first game, comics, and 2 intro (First Beast Fight). I know Cole was defeated by him, but Cole still threw everything he had at him and managed to blow his whole head clean off. So I figured inFAMOUS 1 Cole is like, barely City Level.

No, his inFAMOUS 1 stats are from the fact that he survived the Ray Sphere detonation, and could defeat the likes of Alden and Kessler, the former of whom could easily rip apart a bridge, and the latter who was superior to Cole at full health. And from the recent calc.

He only blew half his face off, and that was after a combination of his strongest attacks and a Lightning Storm. And this was at least a few weeks after the end of the first game. However, this does give justification for him being city level in the second game.

I see. But also, he didn't blow HALF his face off. When he grabs him as he jumps onto the boat, Cole does the Lightning Storm again and blows the rest of his head off. Didn't you even do a calc that puts the regular Lightning Storm at City Level?

He blows his head off at the end, after hitting him with TWO lightning storms + a ton of other attacks. That means that it's more like Cole was chipping away at him instead of doing it all in one blow. And as shown on the TV, John just regrew his head not too long after. And this occurred in the second game.
