Hello friends, this is just a little announcement that I'll be leaving November 25th to go to Norway with my sister and swim with the orcas.

I won't return home until December 3rd.

There's preparation that needs to be done, so I'll be kind of busy already, but if there's something that you think is really important for me to look at before I leave, feel free to send me a message on Discord about it. Otherwise, I'll redouble my efforts when I get back and even finally catch up on my requests.

Edit: I am now home but have a kidney stone, and will need additional time to recover.

A bit late, but enjoy the vacation!

Welcome back!
Kidney stones suck, hope you are able to recover quickly
Thank you, and indeed!

I actually got it mid-flight. Had the classic 'is there a doctor on-board?' announcement and everything.

Thankfully, there was three on board. I was stabilized and went to the hospital, and by some miracle I didn't even miss my connecting flight.

I had no idea they were so painful before! Apparently they're commonly compared to the pain of giving birth, with some women even saying they're worse.

They tried both morphine and fentanyl at first. The only thing that even made a dent in the pain was the secret third thing specifically for kidney stones, but I had to just endure for at least two hours before I got to the hospital where they could administer it.

A painful yet an amazing experience to remember in future. I hope you had a wonderful vacation.

Was it easy to swim with the orcas? Like hesitating at first etc? I'm very curious about it :d

(Also i hope you get better soon)

Unfortunately, I am a fat American and they actually didn't have a dry suit in my size. Even their "XXL" was so small it was literally choking me.
Even if it did fit, I would've had to take my glasses off, which means I'd just be seeing white and black blobs anyway.

So, I didn't personally get to swim, and my sister was too cold.

However, other people on the boat did swim with them, and from what I heard: It was bitter cold, and they saw mostly blackness.

Man, That's unfortunate to hear.

(Having rules and stuff, is it that private to enter?)

It's more like buying your own dry suit would cost at least a thousand dollars, and this planned trip included them for free to use while there.

If you wanted to and had the means, you could theoretically boat out on your own I believe, so long as all other nautical laws are followed.

I also hope that you will quickly fully recover, but am glad that you had a good vacation before the kidney stone at least. 🙏❤️

I am now back in the states, though I have a kidney stone, am in extreme pain, and need some time to pass that before I can really get back to work.

Anyway, here's some pictures:

And here's a video which captures the orcas well:

Ong you're so pretty in the second picture

I hope you get better with the kidney stones, those sound horrible...
