What does this ability fall under?.

Asked this question before but can't remember what the answer was so I'm just gonna ask again.

In the episode "The Million Dollar Ghost" Vlad Plasmius beats up Danny Phantom to the point where he starts to change back into Danny Fenton. However Vlad just says "Oh no you don't" and before the blue rings could pass over Danny's body completely and turn him human, they reverse and keep him in his ghost form.

What power would this fall under?
