What is the original language of the universe DMC?

I recently got a PS4 and now I'm ready to start a marathon of everything in DMC, I really want to learn all the lore from scratch. And I have a reasonable question. What is the original language of the different parts and short stories of DMC?

I know for sure that the original language of part 5 is English (Even in the cut scenes, the characters move their lips so that English words are read). The mobile part is in Chinese. But what about the first 4 parts, novels?

The original language for all dialogues is English, I have no idea if the script is written in Japanese or English but the games default language is English and the Japanese VA only got introduced in DMC 4 which 5 kept.

The novels, CD dramas and whatnot are obviously Japanese originally and translated to English.

The mobile game also has all the dialogue in English which I'm pretty sure is something Capcom forced them to do
